No Frills Paper Towel Dispenser with One Caveat
This is exactly what I needed as far as style and functionality. It's a very basic, minimalist style paper towel holder with a sturdy magnet and...IT FITS THE JUMBO ROLLS!!! You know the Costco Kirkland brand paper towels that are larger in diameter than most. That was the biggest concern. There are tiny rubber bands at the ends that seem very easy to lose, but I am the only one in the house who has the sense and the motivation to change out the paper towel rolls and I am very OCD so I don't think this will present a problem for me personally. However, I can see where it might be a deal breaker for others. Other than that, I am pleased that my paper towels are no longer taking up counter space!

Excellent. Holds up over time
I love this thing. I've been using it for months. It lives on the side of my refrigerator. When I pull the paper towel roll to rip a bit off, the holder doesn't budge. Stays right in place. It's actually somewhat difficult to pull it off the fridge (good thing). And when we do pull it off (to readjust, etc), it doesn't cause any damage to the fridge. Looks great, too. Clean lines, downright pretty. There is one feature that's less than ideal, but still not a big problem. To replace a paper towel roll, you need to detach the wooden rod by removing a tiny rubberband from the wood. The rubberband holds the wood in place, so if you want to move the wood left or right to make room for the papertowel, you need to remove one of the two rubberbands. They're kind of hard to move with your fingers, and prone to jumping off in a weird direction if you're not careful. Other people may just remove the rubberbands, toss them, and not worry about them again. But I think the wooden rod would move around too much without the rubberbands. Update June 2022 (2+ yes): Still love it. Rubberbands still annoy me a little bit haven't lost one yet. I pat myself on the back every time I remove the roll and don't lose the rubberband.

All and all I really like this style and that it is magnetic but every time I replace the paper towel I lose the the little tiny clear rubber band that holds the stick on.

This thing is awesome
The magnet is strong and keeps the item in place (I was a little wary before it arrived, thinking the item might slide around), but it works great. I didn’t realize how much more organized I feel now that I have a paper-towel holder rather than a roll of paper towels just lying around—but I do. Great product!

Teen struggles to change the roll
While it is not that hard to change the roll, the small clear rubber band that secures it is easily lost or broken…especially when my teenage son tries to change it. Otherwise, it does exactly what I needed.

Strong magnet, rubber band issues not a big deal (paper towel holder only)
I've owned the paper towel holder for a couple months and am glad I got it, despite some of the reviews about the rubber bands. The magnet is really strong and holds onto my fridge really well. When I received my order, it came with an extra rubber band in case I lost one, so that no longer seems like a concern. And frankly, I suspect the rubber band issue is more of a problem for the combined spice rack versions than for this one, which is just the paper towel. That said, it's not that hard to get the rubber band on - just hold the band at the bottom of the dowel with your thumb and index finger and then use them to roll the top of the band over and on. It takes a few tries to get the knack for it, but it's worth it given the quality materials and the nice aesthetics.

Yamazaki magnet paper towel holder
The item has two holes and came with two screws. One side of corner is not straight. One side of little rubber does not touch the body. The last picture is Yamazaki’s product. It. ‘a little different than what I re dived. I recommend to by this product from Amazon Japan. Japanese yen is weak now so even you pay a shipping fee, the price is not so bad. Pay little more money and buy better product.

Very sturdy
I hate things sitting on countertops but didn’t trust an adhesive under cabinet holder and didn’t want to drill any holes since we rent. This is the solution. The magnet is very strong and it can be used vertically or horizontally on the side of our fridge.

Best purchase
This is probably my favourite purchase so far in 2021. I have metal shelving from ikea and i just stuck it to the bottom on one of them. Also had a party where i need to move it and being magnetic meant this was done easily.

For the most part good product
I'm using this link the fridge. We put a permanent ring on one end of the dowelOn both sides of the metal, on one end. Now,it works perfectly. The little rubber rings are the weakness in tThe his product. Otherwise, it works perfectly and the simple design looks. Clean.

Strong magnets
Magnets are strong enough to hold while pulling off a piece of paper towel. Was able to stick it to the side of my stove for quick access.
