Impossible to assemble unless you enlarge the holes of the rods with a drill.

After I spent more than an hour to screw in one screw into the rod, I told my wife that it is very hard/impossible to screw the screws into the wood. Then she told me that is what she read in the reviews. She thought the problems would be fixed up by the time she ordered it. She said she has expectation because "It Is Made Iin America." I read the helpful reviews. I used a 7/32 inch drill bit to enlarge the holes. Then I was able to screw in the screws. Still it requires all my strength. When she saw the completed rack she felt it was shorter then she expected but it is sturdy.

Very Sturdy And Attractive

Bought this to hold my electric throw when not in use. Initially found the screws impossible to screw in. As advised by Pete, I enlarged the rods holes and then used candle wax on the screws. Still a tough project for a 67yo female, but got the job done. Rack is very sturdy once screws are in tight. Lightweight so easy to move around. All in all a nice product.

Hard to assemble as delivered

I read previous reviews about screws too big for holes so I measured screws and enlarged holes with a .200 inch drill. I also put soap on screws before assembly. The unit is ok based on the price but the finish where wood is joined not the best.

I haven’t put it together yet .

The quilt stand I’d nice and the wood is nice too. However, The drilled holes for the screws are too small for the screws. I contacted the manufacturer re: this issue, they sent a new set of screws and they are the same size as the original screws. My daughter is going to help me figure this out.

Great as a saddle stand!

This works perfectly as a saddle stand. It was fairly easy to assemble, light weight, and sturdy enough to hold my dressage saddle. After scouring the internet in search of an affordable stand, I came across this product which was the cheapest option and I dare say the most attractive. It looks beautiful beneath my beloved saddle!

With a little elbow grease, this is an awesome, attractive saddle stand

Okay, I won't lie. It was a pain to put together by myself (read: it sucked). I highly suggest having an extra pair of hands to assist, or a drill or impact driver and wood clamps to keep the rails and frame steady as you drill the first screws. After the initial assembly, you may begin to have regrets. In fact, at this point, you will have doubted all your life choices up to this moment. It will be wobbly, and you might cry. After you decide not to give up on life, grab a drill to tighten the screws. A drill with an Allen wrench attachment is absolutely necessary, unless you want to use your own wood screws. That being said, all in all it took me about an hour to 90 minutes and some dignity to assemble by myself once I figured out a system. Once assembled and tightened, it's very sturdy, and holds my 17.5" Custom Saddlery dressage saddle plus pads just fine. Super attractive. I'd leave it in my living room if it wasn't weird to have your tack next to your couch. 45 lb dog assistant for scale.

Really hard to assemble

The finished product is great and looks good and holds a couple of heavy blankets. It was next to impossible to assemble with the allen key - so brutal to try and turn - couldn't do it and had to have my husband help - never really got screws completely tight but it is standing!

A very nice quilt and blanket holder and seems to be quite sturdy, which is very important!

Great product poor delivery partner

The product is great and I use it in guest rooms for them to hang towels on to dry The delivery partner Amazon chose this time BNI we’re awful and refused to deliver to my house and just left at a collection centre 90 mins away - this is the third one I have brought and all the others were delivered to my house very promptly but not by BNI I will not buy anything from Amazon if they are using this delivery partner - I pay to have it delivered not drive and pay gas

Looks nice.

This quilt rack has a nice appearance, however I wish I had looked a little more carefully at the measurements. It is not very big, either vertically or horizontally. The price was reasonable but I wouldn’t buy again, due to the size.

Poor quality

Very disappointed in this product for the price. The pre-drilled screw holes didn’t line up so the wood split when tightening the screws. I would have returned the blanket rack if it wasn’t already assembled. Difficult for one person to assemble. Cheap materials. If it was $50 I’d say I got what I paid for but this was over $100. Save your money and find a better quality rack.
