Perfect for soup

Use these for a baby shower and got so many compliments on them they kept the soup hot during the whole party and looked like a professional catering company supplied them love them

Class Act

Love this soup Warmer I purchased this to serve chilli at my husband's 50th birthday party. It worked flawlessly and it looked classy. Even my caterer was impressed and said I would get years out of it. Amazon shipped fast, great price. The only to remember is that you have to put water in the bottom pan otherwise your food will be scorched... Also you don't need to much water. This puppy warmed the chili up really quickly and it stayed warm all evening. It's light weight and easy to transport. Get one, you won't be disappointed, I may even by the smaller 6 or 7 quart one. I purchased the Adcraft LIPC-8 8 oz Stainless Steel Deluxe Spoon that appeared in the recommendations by Amazon and it fit perfectly. The only thing I would love to see is if the lid was hinged. You have to take the lid off and place it on the table... but I am sure that would increase the cost greatly.

Sharp rim edge

Bought one of these chaffing pots and I love the way it looked, so I bought another one. Now I own two! They work great for serving a crowd and I like how it has a slot, on lid, for the serving spoon to fit. I've used them a few times for catering chilli beans. They are easy to clean, just be careful when cleaning because the rim of pot is sharp like a knife. Cut my hand once already so now I'm cautious.

Great for feeding a crowd

This warmer is great for serving large crowds. It is both attractive and practical. Be sure to order the large ladle to go with it along with your chafing fuel. It is very deep. I had to feed soup to a group of about 40 people so I ordered 2 of these. These warmers kept my food hot for as long as I needed it. It was perfect for my event.

Soup warmer is classy and works great at parties.

We bought this to serve a soup during our parties. it can hold a lot of soup enought for 20 -30 people (of course you have to add soup as the guest deplete the supply. make sure you dont leave the heater on for a long time without putting more water since the water will evaporate eventually. check every 2-3 hours. or add more water when you are adding more soup. pretty nice item would buy again if I need 1 more. :)

TERRIBLE QUALITY - NOT AS PICTURED!!

In the photo featured in the ad, this chafing dish LOOKS worthy of a spot in almost any setting, however, I was quite disappointed when I unpackaged it to find a cracked seam going the length of the insert all the way through where there should not even be a seam. If this were the only flaw, I would have simply sent it back for exchange knowing that manufacturing errors sometimes make it past the quality control crew. However, the defects did not stop here. Note that in the photo contained in the ad, the entire chaffing dish appears to have a nice mirrored finish. This was not true of the item that I received; only the top rim (few inches) of the insert has a mirrored finish; the rest is brushed and looks to be made of a cheap aluminum similar to that of the old cookware sets that used to be sold for camping. In addition, the welds appear to be already rusting. Provided that the workmanship defects were corrected, in my opinion, this still could not be used in any other setting except for those in which appearance doesn't really matter, such as camping.

Just ok for my intended purpose

Just received this today in preparation for possible weather outages (electric stove unfortunately) and I think it’ll do the job for that purpose. The quality isn’t great, I can see where the various parts are riveted and connected are slightly discolored as if it will be no time at all before rust will start (lid handle and rack support especially). The stainless steel isn’t real heavy, but I didn’t expect it to be great quality. The worst part was that I noticed small black things in the plastic wrapping (one bag was completely discolored- mildew from moisture?), and discovered a couple gnat-like bug carcasses in it. Definitely will get a good washing before use, however from the look of it, I wouldn’t even consider using the dishwasher in order to prolong its assumed short life-span. This is definitely an occasional use item.
