Works great

Basic icing bag and tips. Worked as expected. Would recommend getting the icing tip connectors for a better seal.

I liked this product. The only thing I wish, is that it had marked lines on the bag where to cut. I had to keep cutting to make sure the whole wasn’t too big for the decorating tip.

missing piece

Haven’t used it yet but It looks like a good beginner set. However the description said there are 10 bags included, I only received 9. Makes me question their quality control. Otherwise good

"Decorating Instructions and Techniques" Missing from "Beginner" set

I like the variety of tips. I didn't like that the box arrived crushed and missing the guide. This is a beginner set, and one of the reasons I got it was because it supposedly has the guide... and I am a beginner. Thankfully the tips were not damaged, even though the box arrived crushed (shipping a package with hard items and no padding in a plastic envelope will do that).

Great low cost investment for decorating sweets

My toddler daughter was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and celiac disease and she loves checking out the sweets at the supermarkets. I felt compelled to learn to decorate some home baked safe sweets so she wouldn’t feel left out at birthday parties, etc. The Wilton kit is a no frills (just comes in a box with minimal instructions) but for the price it was attractive. It was straight forward to use and it’s actually made me interested in learning more about decorating. The tips clean well in the dishwasher (top rack in a baby dish washer basket). There are a lot of cheap no name brands in the search for the set but Wilton has been around forever and I trusted that they would provide quality material for the kit and I wasn’t disappointed. I would recommend and I hope to learn more techniques soon.

A Great Gift, for You, or a Shower Gift for Someone You Know

I purchased this cake decorating set as a gift, and I was very pleased with it. It arrived on time at my doorstep in good condition in a secure box of appropriate thickness to protect the product. I opened the outer box, then the inner box, and inspected the contents. Everything was there, clean and new and in good condition. The metal tips were finished properly, and none were dented or deformed. I wrapped the gift, and it waited for the day to be presented, and the recipient was extremely happy with it. I would suggest this set as an excellent quality beginner decorating kit. As it is made by Wilton, the top name in cake decorating supplies, you know you can always add to it in the future and build upon it as time goes by. Pair it up with some additional icing tips, and disposable icing bags, and it makes a great birthday, wedding shower, or baby shower gift. You know there will be lots of special future cakes that will need decorating after those life events. I would also recommend this kit as a great starter kit for yourself if you are interested in learning cake decorating. Used for delicious buttercream icing, you will wow your family and guests with your expertise. 10 Wilton Tips, 10 disposable bags, and instructions with icing recipe included. Easy to use, perfect for beginners

I purchased these for my daughter's cupcake-themed birthday party and they were a hit! Enough bags and different piping tips to go around and they were easy enough for even the young ones to use. I popped a bag clip/clamp on the end too keep using from coming out the back end and it was an amazing success. I would definitely recommend for beginners or anyone wanting to experiment and have fun with decorating cakes/cupcakes!
