Great so far but could have better temperature settings

I do love this humidor. I have my Cuban cigars in this unit since the temperature only goes to 65 degrees tops. No big deal since I have cigars that are recommended to stay around 65 degrees. On warm days out here (85 plus), it holds its own keeping the unit around 67 to 68 degrees when set on 65. If I drop to about 62 degrees, it will stay around 65 on these warm days. It’s just consistently running all day to maintain, but that’s fine. Don’t want my investment to get Beatles or dry out and crack sitting to hot. Great product and do enjoy its use.

Really an upgrade over a conventional Humidor.

This product has been amazing, as it seals well, and nicely displays my sticks. It is large enough that I have multiple boxes in it, and many singles. Thr shelves are nice, and set up was a breeze. Seasoning the humidor was easy with Boveda 84s, and after a week I replaced the Bovedas with 72s, and then filled. It is quiet, and overall I am very pleased. Con: Door has to be opened all the way, in order to pull shelves out. Con: Light only at the top, instead of on the sides.

Humidity Difficult To Control

I will say that this cigar humidor isn't worth the nearly $400.00 I spent for it. Maybe half that. It does however keep the expensive Cuban cigars at nearly moist levels at a 80% relative humidity. Recommended more around 70%. Depending on your own preferences. This is told by it's digital hygrometer that it came with. I suppose you'd have to be expert at determining the humidity beads, expensive Boveda humidity packs, distilled water or other concoction. The biggest positive is it holds at least 150 - 250 cigars, comfortably. When I first received the unit, the digital temp. controls couldn't reach 65F (upper limit). Now somehow it indicates that. The noise is an acceptable level but it (fan, fan motor?) still makes it. Suggest isolating it in an area where it won't be a bother. I have mine in a small closet with the door closed while plugged into an AC outlet of course. In short, I'd see if there is anything else out there before you "pull the trigger" on this one. Or, at least get it "on sale" at a better price. Good luck.

Did not work properly

Came in yesterday. Plugged it in an set to 67. This morning it was 49 in it. Trash product... back it goes

EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT

I could not be more disappointed in this purchase. I saved for months in order to surprise my husband with this for Christmas. Ever since we’ve turned it on, it’s been a nightmare. We’ve been “seasoning” the humidor exactly as instructed, yet the hygrometer has consistently showed the humidity over 100%. Doesn’t move at all. After seasoning per the instructions for over a week, we decided to pop our own hygrometer in there and what do you know? It’s not over 100% humidity as the built in hygrometer incorrectly. But wait - there’s more! After attempting to bring the humidity down for two days, it will not go below 73%. This product doesn’t work as advertised and would ruin any quality cigar that you try to store. Please don’t waste your hard earned money on this like I did. You will be SEVERELY disappointed.

Nice Humidor

This was bought as a gift for me. I tell you that I am pleasantly satisfied with this. It maintains a temperature of 65 degrees and keep the humidity in the 67 to 70 percent range. I just simply add or remove the distilled water holder. I purchased a cigar humidity reader to check the humidity in my sticks and my sticks or now at optimum flavor and enjoyment. Would highly recommend for the serious cigar aficionado.

A lot smaller than you would think.

Very quiet , works great , but not worth the money and definitely will never hold 250 cigars that would have to be no shelves with 250 cigars stuffed in there , the unit is narrow but deep , which is awkward if you try placing any other cigar tray in there , and with the flat shelves you kind of need to add trays. If you have a very small collection maby 50 cigars and a couple boxes if they’re the right shape and size you would be fine , but I have 3 humidors I was expecting to fit into this one unit ( a lot less than 250 cigars ) but I guess I was dreaming.
