I replaced my original "metal knob" pull chain with this one which is made out of wood and it looks exactly like the photo. I ordered this because during the winter months I get a lot of static electricity in my home and when I would touch the old metal ball knob I would get a shock. This wooden knob isn't effected by static electricity so no more shocks. UPDATE: Bought this a year ago to attach to (one) of my ceiling fan pull chains because I would get shocked (static electriicity) touching the chain so having the wooden knob at the end of the chain breaks that connection with static electricity. Works so well Im buying another for the other pull chain that turn the lights on and off. ALSO I use this pull chain several times a day every day and I have never had any problems not with the chain or the wooden knob.

Love it! Wish I would have bought sooner

This is really great. I have a light in my basement that the pull chain is a pain in my butt. This has solved that problem. It’s great quality, much better than I expected. The knob Jan heavy weight and hang some straight. I’m mad at myself for not buying this sooner.

Somebody pulled my chain!

Somebody pulled my chain and it broke, so I bought this as a replacement. It does what it is supposed to do. It now hangs proudly on my ceiling fan.

Great spare for an older (but $$$ and well-functioning) light fixture that matches the style well.

Old one snapped after 20+ years, this one fit perfectly and doesn’t clash with the design of the fixture. Comes with the little linking thing that allows you to attach this to the chain, whatever it’s called.

Just fine :)

Hard to review a pull chain, it fits the existing chain, and it works. Not much else to say about it but if you want to decent inexpensive one I think this one is just fine.

Works well

Works well, is at the right length to easily turn the light on and off at night. Easy install. The wooden piece is a little bigger than I expected, but it's being used in the bedroom so I didn't really care how it looked, just so long as it worked.

Inexpensive and just what I needed. I replaced some shorter chains with this chain. I wanted it to blend in and not stand out, but I could see when I wanted it. This fits the bill. It arrived very fast and was just as described.

Great in the closets too!

Instead of using the usual long chains, I replaced all the pull cords in my home with these shorter pull chains. The weight is great for keeping it out of my clothes or having it bungee itself onto a shelf! We have all adult height people living in and visiting out home, so the length makes it a great change out for the strings that came with the lights. Don't know why I didn't think of this sooner, duh!
