Careful if using as a brush from stone ovens

Update: After the initial brief sparks when using this on a hot deck oven, it seems to have tamed down. I have continued to use this brush to clean the hot stones of burnt flour when baking bread, and they have held up. No more sparks. Yes, parts of the broom hairs are misshapen, but they work. Original Review: I bought this brush because it's supposed to be made of tampico natural fibers. Tampico is naturally resistant to high heat, and many pizza oven brushes are made of this material. I bought this brush specifically for my pizza oven that runs at about 500F - it's 1/4 the price of tampico brushes marketed as oven brushes. Unfortunately, this brush is not suitable for cleaning a hot deck oven. I don't know whether this isn't really tampico, or whether there are different grades of this stuff for hot applications. The fibers do feel a bit synthetic, and they are black as opposed to the beige fibers of "oven brushes". Using this brush on 500F stones caused part of the fibers to melt, and I saw sparks as they briefly ignited! Oh well, I took a risk. I'm sure the brush will work fine for sweeping off the flour and dust in my bakeshop.

Despite what the description says, this does not come with the handle!

Does NOT come With Handle

This Brush does not come "with a handle." It may be made "for" a wooden handle - but, it does not appear to be included in the price. The brush itself is ok. But, bang-for-the-buck takes a beat'n if you have to spring for another $10 bucks for a handle. By describing it as "with a wood handle", they may mean that the spine of the brush is made of wood, which it is. No broom handle is shown in the items jpg. Maybe I just mis-read.
