ALWAYS have a repair kit onhand.

I learned my lesson a few years ago to ALWAYS have a repair kit or 2 onhand, I accidently left the pump on once to long and melted the rubber wheel.

Big Improvement!

I had to convince myself that the rotor really should be squeezed into to pump chamber, but I did and now my little pump works like new. It pretty much fills a 1/2 inch garden hose, albeit not very high above the source (perhaps 10 feet). Definitely a good purchase!

This worked to revive my old Teel 1P579F pump. The pump is probably 20+ years old, never been serviced and its now working like new. However, the package only came with 1 gasket. I dont know why the picture shows 2. It would have been nice for a little installation diagram to be provided but it was easy to figure out. A note about the motor brushes. This kit doesn't include new ones. I did check mine and after 20 years of moderate use, they're still good. At least on this model, the brushes are extremely long. So they have a lot of life in them. All in all, this is a good repair kit and I can recommend it.

How many caskets comes in the kit?

I'd order this kit because it shows on the pic that comes with 2 gaskets, however when the order arrived it was only1 gasket. Some of the people comment that comes with 1 and some others said that comes with 2. Which on is it?

Do not use on petroleum products.

Good product, fits several pumps and the gaskets are a bonus. Been using to pump propolene glycol . Over 200 gallons and still working fine. I have tried this same impeller for fuel transfer and it did not last. Great for non petroleum products.
