Gave you a wireless remote (extra 150) they SHOULD have at least heat shrunk the massive ground wire (which I rewired instead) Warn Has Never been my first choice anymore but with size a rescriting factor I installed the Zeon 8S Its light compared to m8000 But man warn just wont give you what you pay for anymore. Its sad. My last winch was a red winch 16.5k on a different platform.

The Warn legacy for durability, and great design lives on
I have been using Warn winches for more than 40 years, and the new ZEON series is the best so far. I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and I mounted the winch myself using the stock bumper. I am proficient at most things mechanical, but mounting it to the stock bumper is what takes the time. It is a fairly well designed and heavy duty Warn mounting unit, but as all things go, it took some pain staking patience putting it on the front of my jeep. I first ran into the problem of the carriage bolts that come with the mounting hardware not wanting to stay in their square slots so that the bumper could be tightened when remounting it to the Jeep. I ended up removing the bumper again, and welded the carriage bolts into their square slots so they wouldn't keep slipping out when tightening the bumper to the frame of the Jeep. The other issue I had was some of the holes not lining up well, so be prepared to do some drilling. All in all, Warn makes the best winch in my opinion, they are heavy duty and WATER PROOF, cheaper winches are not, and believe me, a winch will see water and a host of other elements. A Warn winch is the most money you will ever spend that you hope you never need. :-)

Expensive mistake
Looks very nice but will not work with the JLU with a Rubicon front bumper and the Mopar winch plate it’s just too large! I think it’s too big regardless of the winch mount. Now if you have one of those after market bumpers and the winch mounts on top of the bumper it will probably work for you but for the Rubicon bumper we’re the winch mounts down inside between the frame rails No!

Paying for the name, not the product.
Had this top of the line winch for about three months before total failure trying to winch a 800 pound lawnmower onto a trailer. Rated for 8,000 pounds, this should have been a piece of cake. Warn's customer service was very lacking, but luckily I was able to avoid the 200.00 shipping fee by driving it directly to a warn repair center, of which there are a total of six in the U.S. The repair center is very questionable, and after dropping it off I was offered no paperwork. The workers didn't really even seem to know what to do with this winch. After my top of the line warn winch was there for about two weeks, I called and found out they haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Regardless of how long it takes to fix if they will honor the warranty, I still had to remove it, drive it over an hour, and I'll have to reinstall it in a few months when they get around to it. My confidence is warn is clearly lost.

WARN should be synonymous with power winches; they are the best and the only one that I will trust on the rigs I have owned. This new winch is easy on the eyes, and is built with the usual Warn high standards. Mounted on a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. This is my first use of a synthetic cable/rope, and I have not used it enough to form any opinion. Yes, the price is orbital, the most I have ever paid for a winch. But, I look at it as insurance that will be paid once for the lifetime of the vehicle. I would rather pay a high price for something I trust, than pay less for something I would constantly worry about. Highly recommended.

Great customer service
I love this winch and it was very easy to install. I messed up the threads on one of the mounting nuts which are not standard off the shelf nuts. I called Warn to see if I could buy more and was told they have no way to sell them to me so they sent them to me free of charge and it was my fault they were messed up!

looks real good on my 2006 jeep wrangler......synthetic rope not easy to pull threw the drum on installation ....bolted up fine to the Rough Country 1189 winch plate

Easy install
Haven't had to use yet, however very easy to install. Nice to have extra had to help line up screws.
