Quality OK, but might not need this

My 8274 winch support side bracket drum spool bushing was chewed up so I ordered this kit. Kit comes with four parts: one for the support side, which is the bushing and thrust washer together in one part, and three for the motor/gearbox side - drum bushing, oil seal, and thrust washer. The kit also included an instruction sheet with faded, distant, small pictures and poorly explained, vague detail which was for the most part unhelpful. There is better instruction available online. The instruction sheet mentions a special tool required to install the main drum bushing, but the Warn part number given did not come up anywhere and seems unavailable. When I removed the drum from the side gear housing, the webbed area of the aluminum case which was concealed behind the drum flange was completely clean and dry. This means that despite the fact that the winch was greasy and oily, it could not possibly have leaked oil from here, and I probably didn't need this kit. Also I checked the the ID of the old and new bushings with a caliper and the ID of the new bushing was .008" larger!! Therefor I am not installing the new bushing anyway, but will use the new seal and thrust washer on this side since I ordered them. If yours is leaking here then you might need this kit, but I would pull the drum out and look before spending $30+ shipping on this.

Just need the other two bearings.

The rebuild parts worked great for my old 8472 winch. The only bearings you need is the rolled bearing at the end of the clutch shaft and the sealed ball bearing where the motor goes through the case.
