Wahoo KICKR MAT - love it…

As someone who enjoys indoor cycling, yoga, and cross training, I've found this mat to be an excellent addition to my home gym setup. First of all, the mat is incredibly durable and well-made. It's made from high-quality materials that feel sturdy and reliable, and I can tell that it's going to last for a long time. It's also large enough to accommodate a variety of different exercise equipment, including my stationary bike and my yoga mat. But what really sets this mat apart is its noise-insulating properties. Pleasantly surprised

I was having a problem with my Wahoo Kickr drifting when I used it hard so I was looking for a solution. I was hesitant in spending so much money for a rubber mat but I was desperate. To my surprise this mat worked perfectly and I no longer have the drifting problem. Very good quality. I got it in the winter so I had to let it warm up before rolling it out but after one day, it was flat enough to use. Very happy.

Two years and zero issues

I bought this in 2018 and have been using it under my trainers for over two years now. First a Wahoo Kickr and now a Tacx Neo. It does take a while to get it to lie flat but once it does it performs great. Easy to clean the sweat off, no discoloration and no rips. I've tried to not stand on it with road cleats too often but if I do there's no issues. $70 might seem pricey for a piece of rubber but I'm going to order another for a xmas gift for a friend who just bought her first trainer, if that says anything.

Buy this mat!

I have a TACX Vortex and wanted a TACX mat to match but I have heard good things about this KICKR mat. I was not disappointed, Its a good size to fit my smart trainer, bike and to catch my sweat. Setup is easy, just unroll it and it will lay flat after a while. The first time I used books to flatten it out but I don't think it was necessary. The mat has a good weight and feel to it. Sweat is easily wiped clean and not absorbed in to the mat. After removing my bike and trainer there are dents in the mat from the weight which I was worried about but went away almost completely, enough for my liking anyway. Very satisfied with my purchase and glad I decided to spend the extra money instead of getting a yoga mat.

Really overpriced, but decent quality.

It's longer than most other mats on the market, but it's also way, way more expensive than virtually every other mat on the market. It's a mat. It doesn't do anything else. It shouldn't be this expensive.

Keeps the sweat off my carpet

I've used this mat for several weeks now, and I am extremely satisfied with it. I was hesitant to buy a less-expensive mat due to durability and odor issues others have reported with them. The Wahoo mat, while not cheap, appears to be very durable and it was completely odor-free out of the packaging. I've experienced cheap yoga mats in the past that smell like a chemical factory. The Wahoo mat cleans up very easily with a rag and some all-purpose-cleaner. Yes, the mat came with some creases on the edge when new, but over time they have been settling out and now it is now almost completely flat.

Folds Up/Slides on Wooden Floors

I bought this mainly because I couldn't find other mats with the same wide dimensions. Unfortunately, the mat slides on my wood floors. The bike would slide forward and the mat folds/bunches up between the wheels - causing the peddles and crank to rub up against the mat. I haven't found the perfect alternative. I switched to a Concept 2 floor mat I already purchased. The C2 floor mat stays planted on the wood floor during the same sprints or climbs on the trainer but the dimensions are a little too narrow where it doesn't really keep the floor dry after a long session on the bike.

I had ordered a brand other than Wahoo for my trainer and returned it for this one. I love the mat. It’s sturdy, helps with sound, and is non-slip.

This is no ordinary exercise mat.

I was hesitating buying this mat due to its price, but very pleased I did. It's a great size and much tougher than an ordinary yoga mat. I use it for all kinds of fitness as well as a cycle mat. It's great for skipping, weight training and stretching. Because it is firmer than a yoga mat, it recovers well from indentations made by my cycle rollers and dumbbells etc. Some reviews mentioned it won't lay flat - but I have had no problems with that. It does arrive very tightly rolled but after leaving it unrolled for a day or two it was pretty much flat except for the very end, but a few minuets with a a hairdryer soon sorted that out. Would defiantly recommend this product for anyone wanting a big exercise mat.

Not cheap, but very good.

This is a generous sized mat that does a great job of levelling off the floor for my bike and trainer and, possibly more importantly, keeping the sweat off the floor. Although I make a point of wiping it down after each ride, I'm still surprised that after five months and near daily sweating onto it (sometimes copious amounts), it doesn't smell in the least, helping to keep the whole family happy.

Very good mat at a price

I hesitated before buying this As it seemed expensive for a rubber mat but it was definitely worth it. Used in conjunction with the Wahoo kickr it provides a stable protective surface to do indoor cycling training. It’s a good quality product and after a months moderate use still looks like new. I’m amazed that it returns to its original shape after bein walked on with cycling shoes and supporting a heavy trainer bike and me.

Big and resistant

As a Wahoo lover I couldn’t buy one of those cheap alternative mats. It’s big and resistant. I like the “memory foam” effect it has!
