Great for drumming!
I wasn't happy with the sound of my acoustic drums until I bought a pair of these. I didn't realize how much the volume was hurting my ears and keeping me from enjoying the sound. With these in, everything sounds better, more like what the audience would hear. I can enjoy the skins without the excess volume. And the pouch with the little chain hands perfectly from my cymbals so I don't lose them. Great product. Highly recommended.

Work great!
I use these for playing drums and they work great! They block out the unwanted noise and allow you to still hear the drums while saving your ears! No more ringing ears for me

Feel great but get dirty easy
TLDR: these are the best on the market. There is a threshold to where these may not block all of the loud noise, but it takes a LOT to get there. If you need high fidelity ear plugs these are the ones to get These work fantastic! Everyone in the drumline at my college has a pair. These filter out loud stuff pretty well and almost seem like they aren't there for ordinary volume. They're mostly in ear so they're super discrete. The little rubber container as well as the optional strap makes these super easy to tote around and keep them from getting lost, provided you actually use them which I usually don't. With all of the good stuff aside, I do have some complaints. First off they get gross quickly as they go fairly far into the ear. Cleaning them is fairly easy though. I've run them through the washing machine on accident countless times and I know people who put them through the dishwasher- they are extremely sturdy. Finally there is a point where loud becomes too loud even for these. My drumline plays in an echoey gymnasium and sometimes extra hard rimshots can cut through the protection and make things uncomfortable. That being said it takes a lot to get to that point and these are definitely the best at their job that I've tried. I sat directly in front of the huge speakers at a punk rock show for 3 hours straight and never once felt any discomfort. I tried the eargasm plugs and they were great but they made everything much quieter than the vic firths and the lack of tethering led me to losing the eargasms within a month.

So so…
Feel of it is not good in the ear. May be small ear or shape of mine. Could be ok for others.

Keeps Your Ears From Ringing
I have been using these earplugs for a few years now at the recommendation of drum techs. They work wonderfully. They block out a lot of noise, but I don't find myself having to remove them from my ears to have a conversation with someone. This is important to me because communication is critical during rehearsals. Their lifespan is about 3-6 months depending on how often you use them. If you use them frequently, you'll find yourself purchasing more. You'll know they need replacing when they don't feel like they're sealed in your ear canal very well. The earplugs come with a small pouch and keychain so you can keep them attached to your keys or your equipment.

and was surprised that cymbals actually sounded like cymbals. With regular earplugs the drums sound good
I'm a drummer that plays hard. I've played 36 years both live and in the studio. I use my P.A. to jam with when not jamming with real musicians. I've found my drums tend to bury the background music due to their excessive volume. I put these in, and was surprised that cymbals actually sounded like cymbals. With regular earplugs the drums sound good, but the cymbals are aweful. I jammed the same song prior to using the ear plugs, and found I can hear better using the ear plugs. It achieved more of a mix of music, and drums then without the ear plugs. The volume was greatly decreased, and I walked out afterward without ringing ears. The only thing I didn't like was hearing my own breath before, and especially after the performance, so I will be putting them in after I sit at the drums, and removing them quickly after the performance.

Small fit - too small
These come well packaged and with a handy carry case and neck strap so they would be more difficult to mislay. They look good quality. However, the description of "regular size" in the item description is not correct and is not precise enough. The ear plugs I was sent were actually labelled on the package as "standard fit" and are about the right size for a 3 year old. They did not fit me at all and made no discernible difference ot sound penetration. I'm going to try to return them but as they've obviously been in my ears I guess I'll lose my money. To be updated in due course depending on the reaction from the seller....

Regular too small for most people
Regular size is way too small for most people, large size fits fine. They are definitely worth trying, however the tubes are too long and might be a problem if you wear a hat. My recommendation is the etymotic type that do not have the tubes, plus you get ear tip choices

Small fitting
I ve had acs er20 for ages until somebody swapped them for they're mouldy ones in to my music room.. Bought these but make no real difference as they're way small for an adult.. It actually says on pack they're er20 so probably all the same.. Made in China put in different packaging.. My advise would be get the large fit these do very little

Musician Must-Have
I put them in and thought they weren't working as I could hear my partner talking as clearly as normal. I played the drums and it sounded as crisp and clear as ever. Only after did I realise just how effective they are in reducing volume equally over the frequency range (without changing the sound quality) when I took them out and continued to play the drums. The volume was dramatically reduced by these ear plugs without affecting musicality and my ears might last me a little longer. Thoroughly recommend to drummers.

my drummer son is pleased with these
These are designed by a drummer, for drummers. They are simple and work well. No fiddling about changing the insides. they reduce the sound a lot, he can rehearse and hear other people when they discuss things with them in and there's a simple box.
