Adorable backpack

I use this backpack to take my appointment books and essentials with me when I teach swimming. It is a perfect size, and looks like it will be durable. The print is super cute, and it looks perfect for summer! I use another bag for towels and sunscreen, this is more like a tiny bookbag.

This is a cute purse/small backpack. The material is perfect for summer as it will easily dry if it gets wet by the pool The colors are very cute and exactly like the photo.

Completely peachy beachy Vera Bradley backpack!

I am so in lerv with the new directions that Vera Bradley is heading, this bag included! This little backpack is so light and a little whimsical and SO sweet and just charmont! It holds enough to get you around for most of the day without just carrying a regular backpack and it won't bog you down. The construction is great and the materials are good quality and just so refreshing! Needless to say, I love the bag and I'd recommend you snatch one up before they sell out because I have a feeling that might be a thing!

Nice bag, but a little pricey

This is certainly a nice bag, and good looking; but I'm not sure about it being worth 100 bucks? The backpack is on the smaller end of the spectrum, certainly big enough to carry a large wallet, glasses, sunscreen, phone, small tablet and snacks for a lite day at the beach. The straw material on the outside is nice and decorative, but if you were to toss it around a lot, I'm not sure how long it would last. Pretty much paying for the Vera Bradley name. If this were a no-name bag, it'd probably be $20-30. But then again, the embroidery probably wouldn't be as nice on the patterns. TLDR: if name brands matter to you, get this bag. Otherwise, pass.

cute summery mini backpack

This is such an adorable bag! It has a very summery look. The "straw" seems to be woven plastic, which should be more durable than straw would be - though the Vera Bradley website describes this material as "straw." It really feels like plastic to me; maybe it's coated, since it's kind of shiny. I'm also not sure if the leather accents are leather or pleather. There is no materials tag to indicate one way or the other. Regardless, it's a really cute bag, very lightweight. Has adjustable straps. It's a small size, more for use as a hands-free purse than a daypack or bookbag. Fully lined, has a zipper pocket inside. It will be nice for all-day excursions or festivals, when you don't want to have to carry a purse around. I really like the colors and the fact that it's not a typical Vera Bradley busy print. I have had a lot of VB bags through the years, and am not really into those floral and paisley prints anymore, but this is much more my style. I wish it had an exterior pocket for a phone, but that's not a deal breaker. Cute cute, and perfect to coordinate with summer outfits.

It's smaller than you might think.

This little backpack style bag/purse is darling! The sea turtle and beach theme is so well done. It is about the size of a medium handbag at best, so if you are expecting bigger, take a good look at the measurements. It definitely won't handle enough supplies for a day at the beach, but it's perfect for everyday use to carry smaller items around and keep your hands free if you like. My only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the price point. It's a VB, but unless you are a diehard fan, you have to admit it IS rather pricey for a small backpack.

Nice quality, but small

The bag looks great, colors bright and vibrant. Well constructed using high-end materials. The "straw" feels almost cloth-like. Stitching is precise and neat. The bag itself is somewhat small (no surprise based on listing title), with one zippered inner pocket. The usefulness of this product will depend entirely on your needs. Personally, I have difficulty in seeing how an adult could get a lot of use out of it. This might be better suited for a cute bag for young girl/teen.

Very cute but I question the value.

This is a really cute small summer backpack from Vera Bradley. The colors are pretty and beachy. The handles and zippers are soft faux leather or possibly leather as it's hard to tell for sure. So at a minimum it's soft very nice faux. The straps on the back however are woven, which isn't as nice looking in my opinion. This is a very small backpack and is really more like a purse than a functional backpack. It has only one small zipper pocket on the inside and no pockets on the outside. You could easily fit your phone, wallet, water bottle and a book in it, but not a ton of stuff. I really like it and it's pretty. But for $100 I would expect more pockets and a divider as well as all of the straps being leather. Also, I'm not sure how well the "straw" is going to hold up. Still, it's a super cute bag and I'm looking forward to using it this summer. I would recommend trying to score one on sale.
