Brass full flow

This valve provides full flow and no restriction. The ball valve lever makes operating easy. Wish there was a little more room from the hex area to the thread to install, but I can use a pipe wrench to install. Just didn’t like scratching the surface

Excellent flow from this valve. Perfect for pressure washer

I wanted full flow capacity for pressure washer setup and this valve has that. Shopped big box stores and all the 1/2" valves had very restrictive openings. Very happy with the gpm flow from this valve.

Not enough space

Hard to get a ranch in to turn and tighten. Other than that it is nice valve.

Premium product at best price

Couldn't do better online checking hardware stores, and no store offered the same configuration in full SS under 30. So the best price plus delivery in less than 24 hours makes this import brass a 5 star item.

High Flow

Got a extra 2 or 3 gallons per minute with my sprinkler with a few feet more coverage also. Good product for lower pressure but higher volume wells.

Perfect fit

Had a leaky one and attempted to purchase a replacement locally. After 3 stores, including a plumbing store I gave up. Found this one and it appears to be identical to my previous one. Installed easily, seems well constructed and hopefully will lay me as many years as previous one.

This is a full-port ball valve, unlike many others which have smaller openings in the ball inside, hence less flow. Unfortunately, it is only low lead, not lead-free, but that is unlikely to matter for health. Also, unfortunately, the handle and acorn nut securing it are not stainless steel. If you want to replace the acorn nut (also known as a cap nut) with a stainless steel one, the thread is (metric) M8 x 1.25. These are readily available on Amazon, but you need to get several at a time. In the hardware store, a single one cost me $2.60; on Amazon, you can get 25 of them for like $8.

High Flow!

Needed a high-flow spigot for a small, gravity fed system (19L bucket) to a pressure washer. Did not disappoint. At 3' elevation i got 3-4GPM out of a 6' garden hose. Completely unrestricted, full bore ball-valve. This is the most throughput you'll get to a garden hose for sure. Solid construction too. Hefty unit. I screwed this into a plastic bulkhead fitting. Use teflon tape

Good purchase

I installed this for my garden and it works well. As many folks have pointed out, a standard tap is restricted inside, down to something like 1/4" because of the way the shutoff works. If you want to get the full benefit of a larger tap you need something like this design. This tap installed easily, doesn't leak. Does what a tap should do for a reasonable price.

Why did I wait so long.

First shipment was incomplete. Missing acorn nuts to hold the handle on. Returned and a second shipment was received. Within 30 minutes they were both installed and working. No more struggling with a stubborn, leaking faucet.

No Leaks

I soldered an adapter onto the copper pipe and threaded this on. It opens and closes with little effort. There are no drips. Perfect, I am getting another one.
