Good little unit

I liked that it doesn’t require a bag, i didn't want to buy bags regularly. i like that you can suck and blow. over all it seems to vacuum very well with enough suction power and blow pretty good as well. the unit is much smaller than expected and that's the main disadvantage, due to its slim size the wheels base is small and the unit is not very stable. it tips over often which makes a mess and stop vacuuming even if turn off and on again. you need to remove the top and reset it for it to work again, annoying. if 0.5 a star was an option, I would have rate it 3.5 stars.

The Suction is powerful...

I use the Shop Vacuum for my home... My "wand" vaccum works okay for surface cleaning but after I have had my Great Nephews or Niece snacking and running in and out of my apartment, carrying debris in with them and the messes left in their wake, I get the lightweight Shop Vacuum out and within a few minutes, my apartment is tidy again... The Suction of the Vacmaster is impressive and pulls up ground in dirt from little feet... I am very pleased with this purchase...

It does what I need done

I bought this for a deep clean if an older home. It works great, but it's very hard to lock the hose on when I turn it to lock it only goes a little bit so far it holds so I am not going thru the fuss to return. As far as doing the job it does it so far.

Missing screw

Works amazing, only problem was that a screw from the handle was missing. i bought it from the hardware store, so not a big deal.

I love it

I love this vac. It is amazing. Large canister capacity so don’t have to dump as often. Use it for house cleaning. Literally never sweeping with a broom again. This vac is the best. Wish the power cord was a little longer but no worries. I use it to power blow my porch from my front door. It does the job awesomely. It cleans all the messes the kids leave around. I’m looking for more attachments for it, something easier on carpets, but I really, I love it and I will always use it. I did think it was broken at one time, it was making a loud screeching ungodly noise. I was afraid I lost my vac. I took it apart, and discovered there was a AA batterie that somehow made it inside near the motor. I removed it, screwed it back together and WAH LAH!! It’s going strong once again. It’s still fairly new, got it FEB 2022 and it’s Dec 2022 and it’s still brand new, and when I went inside the motor, it was so clean in there you could lick it. So the vac takes care of itself. But somehow that battery did get inside but I fixed it. So simple. The blue filter is all we use. We never used the foam filter and the blue filter I just wash it like once every other month. Otherwise I give it a got shake on the brick of the house whenever I dump it and that’s about once a month. It is the lowest maintenance machine I ever owned. Never gets clogged. Just perfect. And the customer service. …. SUPERB!!!Quick Fast and Attentive. This is the way to go for your shop vac needs. This one, get this one… add it now!!! I love it, you will too.

Awesome unit!

Hadn't heard of the brand before, but the names I know didn't have anything similar... all I wanted was a small, 5 gal unit, with a HEPA filter. Running a wood furnace, the cellar is plagued with a lot of fine dust. Came with excellent attachments, so easy to run (last one that croaked, the on/off switch was almost inaccessible... this one's right on top). Spent a lot of time researching, glad I chose this unit. Light enough to haul outside and vacuum out the cars. Totally pleased.

Great vac, but attachments/ tools could be better

I bought this vacuum to clean my very dusty basement. While the suction power is great, the floor brush became clogged with dust after a few minutes of vacuuming, and I had to keep stopping to vacuum dust clumps out of the bristles. The floor brush head spins around, too, especially when you try to get into corners. Also, the wand isn’t long enough to use this standing up straight, so I had to bend down to use it, which was annoying because I had to keep taking breaks to vacuum dust from the floor attachment and stretch my back, so the job took a lot longer than it could have. And I’m not tall—5’6”. I wish I could purchase a wand extender and a floor tool with a wider opening and no bristles. That would make this vacuum perfect, as it otherwise did a fabulous job—and it is light and can be rolled easily around a basement floor.
