Perfect for an older toddler
I got this because I don’t want a double stroller but my nearly 3 year old occasionally needs a break on a longer walk. This board is perfect. This fits in perfectly and doesn’t impact how the stroller folds up or stows away. Highly recommend!

Game changer!!!
Bought the Side kick for our stroller to take on a trip, and it was a game changer! Our 3 year old loves to ride on it, we say it’s like a skate board, and it makes it so much easier to manage the two kids. We were able to get around a huge resort without any issues. I highly recommend!

Functions well, however clip to stow keeps breaking
I bought this ahead of the arrival of my second child for my 2 year old to ride on when we were out with a newborn. It was great for short trips and in parking lots when she couldn’t be trusted yet, but it works better now that she’s older and has the attention span for it (she’s almost 3). When we first installed it I was impressed with how slick it was to store up when not in use and that it really doesn’t affect the stroller fold at all. I also thought it would struggle going over bumps, like mounting curbs or bigger sidewalk cracks and it has no trouble at all. The maneuverability of the stroller is essentially unaffected when in use. It’s also pretty quick to temporarily remove if you don’t want to have it attached to the stroller for some reason. After 9 months of use there are a few cons: 1. It does add a fair amount of weight if you’re carrying the folded frame a lot or lifting it in and out of the car. 2. I’m 5’6” and I have trouble not kicking the board when I’m walking with it, my arms have to be straight out and the handle has to be extended to it’s furthers position and I still sometimes kick it 3. It’s harder to engage/disengage the brake when in use. I’ve also mistakenly deployed the board instead of the brake. 4. The primary annoyance for me, is the clip to keep it stowed in the up position. It has now broken twice. Uppababy’s customer service is great and they’ve sent me a replacement both times which has arrived within 48 hours of my ticket. The first time, the stroller had been in the car and it was very cold so I thought it broke because the plastic was too brittle due to temperature. However it broke again last week when at room temperature and having only been used a handful (at most 5) of times since being replaced. Which points to a design problem with the material used for the clip which is disappointing.

Great solution for families deciding between single or double stroller.
We purchased this kickstand to go with our uppababy cruz. We have a 2.5 year old and a newborn, decided against upgrading to a double and purchasing the kickstand instead. Our 2.5 year old does still enjoy an occasional ride in the stroller, so I plan to wear the baby while he's in it too. But we've been using the car seat to click in so it's easier to have the 2.5 year old on the piggyback. He was excited about his new ride and has loved riding around on it. We haven't gone too far other than walks in the neighborhood or quick shopping trips, but so far it has worked well for us. The piggyback attaches to the stroller very easily and clips up and down without any difficulty once attached. I am a little worried that unless I'm right there with my son, holding onto the handle bars that he could tip the stroller. While riding on it he will sometimes lean back and the stroller does pull up a little in the front. I don't think it would ever completely tip over, but it does give me some worry. Overall, it's a great solution for the in between double stroller and single stroller families.

Great product
Awesome upgrade from our 2010 vista piggyback! Easily folds and snaps out of the way! Old piggyback had to be held up by a strap with a snap. Couldn’t be simpler with 4 kids! Also, it stays on and we can fold up the stroller. Our Cruz is white so there’s black spots on the back from where the dirty piggyback wheels hit when the stroller is folded up but I’m okay with that. It might bother me if I had one kid but again, 4 kids so I’m over worrying about stuff like that! Our son either stands on this or sits on the basket frame and rests his feet on here. Perfect for us. We were worried about getting a Cruz and only having one seat (needed new stroller and didn’t want to pay for another vista and all it’s accessories as we are probably finished with infants) but he is able to sit when he wants so it hasn’t been a problem.

Convenient and a life saver
I have a newborn and a toddler so this is awesome and a lifesaver. This board allowed me to use my existing Cruz and not be forced to buy a double stroller. I can safely shop or walk with 2 kids. Just note you have to fully extend the handlebar and I often find myself pushing the stroller while standing to the side because the board sticks out a lot which impacts my normal walking.

Ordered this item from the warehouse hoping to save a few bucks since this was going to get abused by my children anyway. The piggyback board was in great shape however all the other parts were missing (clamshells & clip). Uppababy stepped up to replace them. Just be wary of the warehouse deals. Sometimes not all the parts are included.

5 stars! Yes, I've read the other reviews where the customer warns that the stroller can tip. Yes, this is true - the stroller will tip if your little rider puts his weight at the top of the handlebars while riding on the Piggyback. However, (and importantly) it hasn't been an issue for us. When our little rider first started using the Piggyback, we instructed him to hold on to the side of the handlebars closer to the fulcrum point (where the handlebars/frame pivot to fold the stoller) - this helps mitigate the issue of tipping the stroller. Has not happened since he got used to riding on the Piggyback. On to my review - this add-on is AWESOME. The bearings on the wheels feel just as smooth as the bearings on the wheels of our 2017 Cruz. Top-notch quality. The only part that feels like it could break is the plastic latch. If you have 2 kids and one of them is between 3-5 years old, this add-on is a lifesaver on most any trip. Now you can stroll at your own pace.

Simple to fit

Expensive but my back is very thankful
For what it is (a board and two wheels), this item is very expensive. BUT! It saved me so much trouble in wheeling my 3 yo and a baby around. My 3 yo loves it and wants to ride even when tired or grumpy, so I don't have to carry him in those cases any more.

It is Very light!! is not worth for the money that I paid! I have ordered it because my gradaughter registered her baby shower at Babylist it was $99,at Amazon I was charged $149:00 I'm not happy about it!
