Love this line of Curtains... See my pics.
Love this line of Curtains... See my pics. There seems to be a lot of confusion and un-happy customers because they only got one curtain. The ad that I read says "United Curtain Blackstone Blackout Window Curtain Panel, 54 by 84-Inch, Sage." The devil is in the details. The qualifier is the word "panel." A panel is just one component of the curtain assembly unless your window is very small. I bought a total of 22 panels. 6 Tie Up panels (4 for the kitchen, 2 for two doors with windows), 8 valence panels (4 for the sliding glass door and 4 for living room picture window), and 8 54 x 84-inch curtain panels (4 for the sliding glass door and 4 for the living room picture window). Chances are, if you are buying a multiple panel curtain pack, it will either be VERY EXPENSIVE or VERY CHEAPLY MADE (OR BOTH). It is quite common for curtain panels to have a picture of a completed curtain project on the product and only have one panel inside so that people can buy what they need rather than more or less than they need because it was bought as a set. Having quality matching window dressings in my new home was not cheap. However, I think that purchasing my panels through AMAZON made it easy to get matching curtains and valences on a budget. I am a Ross shopper but I never could have gotten matching curtains enough to complete my living area -I needed 22 pieces and I would have been lucky to find 5 matching pieces at Ross. :( I guess every individual needs to decide what is important to them. I had blankets on my windows prior to the arrival of my curtains -very ugly (to me). I am still VERY HAPPY with my beautiful matching sage curtains. :) Hope this helps!

I just received these and they are very nice . I bought them because they were blue and room darkening & I had to have a valance for my sliding door to match. The color is darker then the picture shows they are more of a medium blue. They do a nice job of darkening the room . We have a rod on ours and the sides do let some light in but if you want total room darkening you need a regular rod that hangs closer to the wall so you can let the curtain wrap around and it will surely darken the room .They do hang nice and are very pretty drapes. We also bought the valences and they are just great on our sliding door. I was reading the instructions on how to wash and iron them it says to iron with a cold iron? How do you use a cold iron ? Duh ! When you plug in an iron it heats up in less it is off and what is the point ? ) and that is what makes it nice for getting out the wrinkles. I set my iron on polyester what the curtains are made out of 100% . I put a cotton towel over it and it did nothing so I took the towel off and proceeded to iron with out the towel ( figuring they are not that expensive so would give it a try ) on the polyester setting and it works fabulous. After ironing and hanging these they are really nice drapes .If you want blue drapes and they do work well for darkening the room you will not be disappointed with these .

"Brick" Color Is Misrepresented
The overall quality of these curtains is better than I thought it would be, given the price point. They are heavier than I anticipated, with no loose threads to deal with, and do a really good job of blocking light from coming in my window. I get very little direct sunlight in that window, but it's still fairly brightly lit when the sun is out. You WILL have to iron these before hanging because the fold creases are all but permanent. Washing and drying the curtains has no effect, they'll be just as creased after laundering as they were before. The only issue I have is the color. The photo and the color name both lead you to believe this is a maroon color, a brown-tinged red. They are not. Instead they are burgundy, a purple-tinged dark red. Even seen purple-red bricks? Me either. I sure have seen a lot of brownish red bricks, though. If you're looking for a decent quality, affordable curtain panel in burgundy, these would be a good choice. If you're looking for an actual brick colored curtain (brown-red not purple red), these aren't going to work for you.

Beautiful, Silky Curtain
I truly love this curtain! I had been looking for some time for a curtain that would look good on my odd, super small window. My window is only 24" wide and 36" long. So, I bought this hoping I could make the window look larger. I also liked the idea of a curtain that I could change the length. This curtain is super soft, feels like silk. It is true to color - my pics don't show the color well so don't be misled- it's the exact color as shown in their picture. This curtain is also well made - seams look flawless. It's thick and I would say its approximately 75% blackout curtain. I hoped you would be able to see the blackout ability in my pics. I do recommend this curtain! You won't be disappointed.

Hanging tips!
I can see where some people say these are hard to tie. A little difficult to get them to hang nicely (as pictured), but not impossible. Tie the bows first, at the approximate desired eye level you want them to hang. Then starting at the bottom of the curtain, fold upward like an accordion. Then lift the folds up into the already tied hanging bows. Straighten and arrange from there. I did steam iron them right out of the package. All wrinkles came out nicely. Smooth, silky fabric. Nice feel to them. I also do not need the function of raising and lowering them, as they are for decorative purposes only. This would be a pain if you needed to re-tie them every day.
