Form + function, check!

Looks great - just like the pictures! Fits into the small corner next to my door that’s not big enough for anything else, and holds the umbrellas that previously had no home. The base is heavy so it won’t tip over, deep so it can catch drips, and made of resin so it won’t rust. Other reviewers noted assembly problems, but mine went together quickly. All parts were included and all the holes aligned properly. The instructions are folded up inside the little envelope with the bolts and Allen wrench.

It's a poorly executed design and Jordan Murphy should be embarrassed.

First, the hex bolts are painted so the included hex key does not actually fit in the bolt head. Second, the holes in the base are so wide and so poorly spaced that the instructions tell you to use two washers per bolt to make up for the complete lack of design tolerances. Third, the base connection is wobbly because the "second point of contact" fits in a giant slot and is right next to the bolted connection, simultaneously providing absolutely no additional support and displaying a surprising lack of basic ability from Jordan Murphy Design.

Umbra is my go to company for small house furniture!

This umbrella stand is solid, elegant and useful. My home has a lot of mid-century modern or similar aesthetic. I have the Eames Hang-It-All ($300) in limited edition black and walnut. This Umbra umbrella stand matches it well at a fraction of the cost ($50).

Attractive, easy to assemble, stable

This umbrella stand was really easy to assemble. It's very sturdy and doesn't tip over, despite having a lot of umbrellas, sticks, and toys in it. There's a compartmentalized lip on the bottom of the stand to keep your things from slipping out or getting tangled in each other. The footprint is small so it fits easily in our cramped entryway.

Exactly what I was looking for

Very nice, simple, modern design. Very easy to put together. Doesn’t take up too much room. The resin base was heavier than I thought- that was a bonus! Enough room for all my large umbrellas. I’m happy with my purchase.

Excellent quality, clean lines and smart simplicity.

Very pleased with this. I can only assume that the reviews complaining about assembly had a “faulty batch’ or umbra had dealt with some issues since. I had not realised that the bottom part was ceramic and had assumed it was plastic....perhaps I should have read the description rather than admiring the pretty pictures :-) It is a really smart stand with a nice weight to it and fits perfectly down the side of our wardrobe in the porch. I would say that short umbrellas might not hang as you expect on the 2 hooks that are on the top ring, however for my purposes it is perfect and there is no chance of the water from the umbrella getting on to the wooden floors.

Stylish and solid, practical umbrella stand

Saw this in my favorite coffee shop and liked it, but in the normal retailers they are £40. Found it sold less than half price at an amazon warehouse deal!! Lovely quality umbrella stand, very heavy solid base, handy wooden handle if you want to move it, there are two little hooks where you can hand foldable umbrellas (they are a bit too low though, fordable umbrellas touch the base, better if they didn’t). Overall very happy with purchase

Aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and Funtional! We have many umbrellas at home, this is so helpful on rainy days and it fits right in to the living room.
