Worth the money
Not to bad to install, Remember you must have the neutral line in the box, typically a white wire. The depth is a bit much but it will fit in a typical housing. Easy to set up, keeps time well.

Well designed and easy to program
It works well so far and it looks like the regular switch. However, the durability is still unknown.

Easy to Install - Easy to Program - Works just as it says
This switch is everything I was looking for in a programmable switch for my outside lights. I'd been looking for a device that would have sunrise/sunset times built in, I knew many of them were complicated to program. Reading the description here on Amazon, and since the price was reasonable, I thought I'd try it. Installation was as easy as installing any other light switch in a wall. The only difference between this and a standard light switch is you need to make sure your box contains a NEUTRAL wire, in addition to the two usual LOAD and HOT wires. My box had the NEUTRAL wire already in a bundle. This switch comes with a small white jumper wire to attach the switch to the bundle. It's really easy to attach those three wires to the switch. Just push the wires into their designated hole on the switch and tighten. You do NOT need to wrap the wire around a screw as in most switches. I found this much easier and safer than with that method. I was happy to see that I was correct. Programming IS much easier than any other switch of its type. Just put in the day, date, select automatic daylight savings time adjustment, and finally choose from three geographic locations. That's it! There's a button for "Sunset ON, Midnight OFF" which is exactly what I wanted. I pushed it and I was finished! A couple of things I found slightly negative. Because you do not program in your exact latitude and longitude locations, what the switch thinks is your sunset time may be off by several minutes. That's really no problem because you can program any time from an hour later to an hour earlier than the sunset time the switch selects. From that point the switch would be correct when turning on your light. Also, as a few others have said, if you wish to manually turn on or off your light by just pushing in the switch, there isn't any indication whether you've just turned your lights on or off, without opening the door on the switch each time to check. That wasn't a problem for me because the switch is right by my door and I can just look out the window to see if the lights are on or off. Both small negatives. The switch is working beautifully and especially at this very reasonable price I'm totally satisfied with my purchase.

Nice
If you've ever installed an outlet or wall switch, and you can read instructions, you can install this timer. An electrical box with a little extra room is very helpful, but not necessary. I used this during the Christmas season for the outdoor lights and it was great. It's one of those things that simply make life a little easier. If you're really busy, very forgetful, or plain old lazy, this will help you look responsible.

Excellent addition to a towel warmer
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this item to make turning the tower warner a breeze. Programming on/off times was very easy, and I loved that it has an option to turn off after being on for a certain amount of hours. It's great to not have to work about the rack running hot all day. The design is sleek and blends in well with the other switches. My only improvement is to have the groove for opening be a bit thicker, because I end up using my nails to grab it. Good thing I don't have to access the menu often, since everything has been set. Pressing the closed button activates both on and off, so that's not a problem. Great purchase!

Simple to program in wall light timer
We have outdoor accent lights which we like to have on in the evenings. An in-wall timer provides control and can turn on and off as programmed. An internal clock determines what time the sun sets in your area so the unit will turn on at sunset if required. It adjusts the sunset on time as the seasons change Installation is the same for all these units and some knowledge of home wiring is required. It is important to wire properly or the timer will not work. Once installed this unit is easier to program than others I have used. It is a great value for the money as more difficult timers on the market can cost twice as much. I am well pleased with this and recommend it highly!

Exactly What I Needed
This is exactly what I was looking for. We have outside lights that are controlled by a switch in the garage. Our light fixtures do not have light sensors to tell when it is getting dark outside. Instead of replacing the fixtures with ones that have sensors, I got this to tell the lights when to turn on and off. It works like a charm. The lights turn on and off exactly when I programmed them to. Installation is pretty straight forward. Personally I am comfortable with replacing light switches. If you have never replaced a switch, the provided instructions (and a YouTube search) could probably get you there. Of course if you are not comfortable with doing electrical work, hire a handyman, electrician, or ask a knowledgeable neighbor for help. Programming the switch is very simple. One thing to keep in mind, the depth of the switch is significantly deeper than a standard light switch (maybe about 1.5 to 2x the depth). I suggest that you look and see how deep your box is to make sure this will fit.... with wires too. Overall 5 stars. Will buy again for the back yard flood light.... and any other switches I want on a timer
