Just what I needed to replace my worn out nozzles except for the overspray

Excellent nozzles with great adjustability. As with the 90 degree nozzles, I wish I could throttle the distance of the spray down more.

Nice universal spray nozzle

I have been a gardener for many years and have used more than several brands of irrigation products. There are less costly products than Rain Bird but I usually buy Rain Bird products simply because their products are consistently good and they do what they say they will do. This particular nozzle is a nice one to keep in stock as it has a good range of adjustment for those not so usual misshapen locations.

Great upgrade for those fixed arc nozzles

Works exactly as one would expect - you can adjust the pattern from 0 degrees to 360 degrees and also can adjust the radius of the spray from 9 to 12'. I used it to upgrade the cheapo nozzles that came with the units from a big box store and made the sprayers into the perfect customizable units to get water where needed and not in a full 360 like the stock nozzles.

Nice Adjustable pattern - cover only the needed areas

This Rain Bird 12AP Adjustable Spray Nozzle did just as expected giving me the pattern I needed. Could not get this locally so was pleased to find it on Amazon.

Drop it like it's hot

These are only OK for use in hotter climates. Two issues that arise in the over 100 degree sunny climates. 1) the spray head leaves a space about 1 foot in front of the spray pattern unwatered. So, that area goes brown or dies off from the lack of water in the extreme heat. 2) the sun quickly degrades the plastic on the top of the nozzle, so after about 12 months of use, the rim that directs the water spray chips from the force of the retracting head after a water session. Again, once that rim is chipped you might find brown spots due to the water not being spread evenly. Rainbird does make dual spray heads, and they work well, but they are still plastic and are going to chip at some point. So, I suggest you look at the Orbit brass spray head products. They are dual spray, are brass so they won't chip, and I think they have a little better range and adjust-ability. All at a great price.

Versatile. Limited range.

Good sprayer for many situations. But very pricy here on amazon. I would say range is not quite as advertized. Maybe if you count Tiny droplets of water reaching far sometimes with the help of the wind. .... the point is, dont expect it to reach the full 12ft.
