Not exactly red, but good quality as usual with Uchida/Decocolor

A little lighter than it should be for red but perfect for my uses. I just use model paint when I need a richer red. If anyone can recommend a better superfine tip red paint marker I'd appreciate it

I use them on all kinds of surfaces but mostly metal they perform well with sharp edges

Yellow Deco Paint Pen

Works perfect. I bought 4 pens. Two for my sister and two for me. The tip of one pen came out, but my sister pushed it back in and it works fine. No problem with my pens. Used it to add yellow dots to my woodcarved fish...still working on it but done with the yellow dots.

Perfect for marking on metal

If you have moving parts that you don't want to see move -- this is a great way to see them. Great pen, and does exactly what you need it to do...

Good for marking black plastic parts

This is good for marking black plastic or metal parts. I use it especially to label black electronic components with information. Give it a short time to dry.

Much inferior to other paint colors in this product line

I’ve used the white and gold extra fine pens with excellent results for years, but the red pens proved to be virtually unusable. The tip would fill with only enough paint for four or five words (names inscribed on Xmas ornaments), then clogged to the point where the only way I could use the pen was to press the tip on a block of wood until the paint flowed out around the tip, then dip the tip in the paint and carefully draw the letters risking blobs of paint flowing onto the ornaments. Time-consuming and way-below-par results.

Absolutely NOT RED

I have been searching all over for a RED, ultra fine tip, paint marker. Which is the description of this item. I was excited to finally find a RED ultra fine tip paint marker, so I got two. I immediately opened up the first one, and tested it to see how deep the color RED was. Immediately I was not only dissatisfied, disappointed, but angry. It turned out to be pink. I was using it to mark Aluminum. It's the color of pink you would see on a Barbie Power wheels. I don't recommend this non-red paint marker if you are looking for a deep RED.
