20" not 5"
Pic and initial description says its 5". Item dimensions says 20". Should of caught that. Received 20" when only was looking for small width roll.

Rotating handles would help
What is not clear from reading about this and similar industrial plastic wrap products is that the most important feature would be handles that would easily rotate as one wraps the plastic around (in my case) furniture I was moving to accommodate a remodeling. I got the job done, the material does what is supposed to do, is good width -- but I had purchased handles (for want of a better word) that I could attach to the extension of the cardboard roll in the middle such that one could just quickly walk around the object to be wrapped holding the roll by either side, it would be much more efficient. I don't quite see why the suppliers would not include the handles; you can wrap something without the handles, but it takes 4 tyimes as long and if you have too fast you can friction-burn your hands. After I had essentially finished, I found that I had stuck back on a basement shelf an old roll of shrink wrap from some kid's move years ago -- and it had exactly the handles I was imagining would help. Turns out it was easy to slip them off that old roll and onto the new one. I'll not be caught in this problem again -- but I would highly encourage any purchaser of this product to beg, borrow, steal (or preferably, purchase from Amazon!) a pair of roller handles. Haven't looked, but Amazon has everything else under the sun, so they probably have these handles available for purchase.

hard to get the 5 inch roll
this is a generic item. good for wrapping blankets around furniture. Problem is i ordered it once, they sent me (a more expensive) 20 inch roll. can't use. ordered a second time. they sent another 20 inch roll. had to return. I would have used a saw to cut it into 5 inch segments, but cutting heats the plastic and it will never unroll correctly. I know this.....

You Will Have Alot Left Over
I bought this when I moved. I had accumulated over 10 years of stuff, not counting furniture, appliances, etc. I was able to wrap EVERYTHING in plastic(that needed it). Also, I used it to wrap up stacks of boxes on my dolly, so that I didn't have to hand carry over 80+ boxes, and didn't have one problem with the boxes ripping the plastic and spilling everywhere. After the move, I checked to see how much I used (because I used ALOT) and I still had over 3/4th of a roll left. Ended up giving it to my neighbor who was about to move. So, if you need plastic for a move or to store stuff away in a storage unit, this is the one for you. P.S. For the record, I did recycle the plastic I used.

Great for Moving Larger Items
This worked well for all of my larger furniture on my cross-country move. I was worried about the edges of my dressers, TV stand, and nightstands, and this wrap was a lifesaver. I coupled this with bubble wrap in some instances and had no issues with it ripping or shredding in the moving process. No scratches on any of my furniture! The only reason why this isn’t five stars is because it is not necessarily easy to wrap. The handles on the tube itself are awkward and you will feel awkward circling around the furniture attempting to hold the wrapping tube. Overall does a great job of protecting items!

Plastic Wrap Dome Tent
I used the product to make a play dome for my grandchildren to use. Added Christmas lights with colour changing. We did this in the Winter and we had some fresh snow overnight.

I'm so glad I found this product. I was able to cover some of my furnitures and didnt have any scratch or damage on it when I was moving.
