Better quality than original

The original Federal Pacific Electric® Stab-Lok® system sucked from the beginning and was discontinued pretty quickly so it's good to be able to still get replacements. These are better made than the originals. Getting the old ones out is always hard (the two pole ones are easier)

It fit and worked perfectly but I've had to replace my Federal Pacific service entrance due recall!

There is a recall for Federal Pacific circuit panels and breakers. If you need to upgrade service you won't pass inspection with a FPE panel!!!!!

It's working so far.....

At first I was skeptical that any Federal Pacific Electric Stab-Lok breaker patterned on the original design (regardless of the current maker) would ever work without quickly tripping (or getting super hot, or starting a fire) given their history. But so far this new breaker is working OK without getting super hot even when my heater/air handler's heat strips jump to the max temp right before the thermostat shuts down at the end of the cycle. Fingers crossed it will continue to work correctly.

A perfect fit and better quality than my oem unit. 1 day shipping.

5 stars! My old ckt brkr was a 50 year old oem unit. This breaker is an exact fit and feels and looks better made. It required less than 3 minutes to install (DIY). The old brkr was black, this unit is gray.

I think it's important to use in a Stab-Lok breaker panel. Not sure it will fit others.

This fit my old Federal Pacific breaker panel. Needed to add a supplemental 60 Amp breaker box and this worked perfect. It fit in the space perfectly. I had added one several years ago for some woodworking equipment and purchased from Amazon. It's been in use 5-10 years and has worked perfect. These breakers are hard to find and very expensive if you have a local supplier order them (my local supplier said it would probably be a couple of hundred dollars). Thank goodness for Amazon.

Good product. Replacement for a Federal Pioneer

This product works great. Before this one, I purchased a Fed Pioneers (being from Canada) from the box store and it was defective (pole not passing current). Exchanged, got back home to discover the second one was also defective. Returned and this time I took a chance on ordering this one from amazon.... and glad I did. As others have mentioned; it did come with a few scratches which I found strange but my electrician advised me it was most likely due to their testing process. At least they test them which is more than what I can say about the two faulty ones.

Works with Canadian made Federal Pioneer panel

It fits perfectly in my Federal Pioneer electrical panel. My panel accepts either NC or NA breakers. So you know,this breaker takes up 4 spots in the panel which works for me since I installed a generator panel which freed up space but might not work for everyone. I highly recommend this breaker as a replacement for a NA260 breaker since they are very hard to find right now.
