Fits my old Cutler-hammer box.

Haven't had any issues with these breakers. Received in a timely manner, and no problems with them kicking off before they're supposed to. Not much more you can ask from a breaker... Haven't burned anything down yet.

Why buy used or reconditioned old Zinsco breakers when you can get these NEW units for the same or less price?!

Expensive but available. Also slightly wider than the one it replaced

Unfortunately my house has a Zinsco panel and that company is long gone so finding replacement breakers can be challenging and expensive. Newer, better, breakers cost $15 where these are $60+. That said, when you need one it's cheaper than replacing the panel. This breaker had the 15A a on the opposite side of my original (not a big problem) and is slightly wider than the original so I really had to work to get it in between the other breakers.

Adjustment needed

Replaced an original wadsworth circuit breaker with this one. Had to file the breaker cabinet cover to fit the cover back on. The new circuit breaker fit fine in it's slot.

Works great as a replacement

This is an OEM replacement, meant to be a replacement for the original Zinsco circuit breaker I had. I could no longer find Zinsco circuit breakers anywhere, but luckily found this Connecticut Electric unit. Functionally, it works exactly the same as the original Zinsco. I replaced and purchased a 2-switch unit that had one switch for 15 amps, the other for 20 amps. Compared to the Zinsco, the two switches were flipped. Instead of the 15 amp switch on the bottom on the Zinsco, it was on the top on the CE. I resolved this by switching the wires when reinstalling the circuit breaker. Speaking of which, the circuit breaker was very easy to replace. Just take the proper precautions and take your time. I have little electrical experience, but this was very simple, even though it was a little unnerving. A little fear is a good thing when messing around with electricity. Besides the color of the circuit breaker (CE is gray, Zinsco was black), the switches stick out a little further on the CE breaker. It may not properly clear your circuit breaker panel door if you have little clearance. I had no problems closing the door of my panel. Amazon prices were about 25% cheaper than my local big box hardware stores

If it's what you need, buy it.

+ ... 20 amp rating allows use of 12 gauge copper wire and outlets with both 15amp (parallel) slots and 20amp (1 vertical and one T) slot. It fits the Cutler-Hammer electric panel it's designed for. Attractive black housing with all of the important electrical certifications clearly marked. The lever is conveniently marked with the 20 amp rating. - ... The shade of industrial tan used for the lever does not coordinate well with modern decor, so if the color is a problem, keep the panel door closed. (Seriously, it's a circuit breaker. What's to review. Posting because this is the third request for a review from Amazon. )

Perfect replacement

Perfect replacement for original breaker. Easy install. Clear markings. However, I was doing an upgrade for a kitchen outlet and, according to code, should have replaced with an arc fault breaker./ AFCI. Costs about $45 on Amazon.

Fit into box ok but not as well as original stab-loc

The breaker fits into the box ok but does not have the same contouring as the originals so does not fit as snuggly

Works but just fits can't compare to the original.
