Light and contoured
I used to swim a lot in high school and now am getting back into it. Bought this board to supplement my lap swimming efforts as most of my sports equipment stores nearby had at most one kickboard option. This felt expensive for what it is, but I DO love the following key features: 1. It’s superbly light. This makes it very comfortable to carry in my gear bag. 2. It’s contoured. It’s so much of a smooth go in the pool and I attribute this to its contouring. For being a basic piece of foam, it has impressed me and I’m enjoying it very much. Worth the cost.

Super lightweight
I love this kickboard. It weighs almost nothing and gives me just enough buoyancy to get some air while kicking. You can easily swim with it underwater. The shape is very ergonomic.

This is NOT a beginner kickboard. If you're looking for a full body raft, this is not it!
Nor is this a kid's kickboard just because it's much smaller than a typical kickboard. ----This is an amazing and incredible high-concept kickboard for those who know how to keep their body afloat and horizontal ( no sinking legs!) without dependency on any flotation device. This board will keep you lower in the water than your typical kickboard. It's the perfect size for me, and my arms have never been comfier as I glided up and down my public Olympic-size pool in pure bliss! OMG, do I love this thing!!!! Reading through the reviews here, it's obvious that there are larger swimmers who praise this board and larger swimmers who do not. I passed this board around to the big guys I swim with ( 6ft, 180, and up), and all of them could easily stay afloat and kick comfortably with no issues. No sinking, no problems. This board demands that you've got some skills and will put in some WORK to kick with it! If you want and/ or need a raft-like thing to keep you effortlessly afloat, save yourself the frustration, money, and time, and do not get this kickboard.

If you wanna be the coolest kid on the block who's not using a piece of foam and is showing up all the honeys you've got the best equipment in the pool this is for you. Just kidding. This is a higher engineered tool for practicing swimming. The position of your arms better replicate a swimming stroke and thus allow your body position to be more in line with how you would actually be swimming with a stroke. For those who pay attention to the details and choose to invest in the details of performance this is for you. Does it produce the same function of things half its price. YES Does it produce the same result of things half its price. NO

Great for if your arms get tired while kicking
I got into swimming and was using a flimsy kickboard. My arms would kill me during my kick. I read the reviews and ended up buying this one. The way it’s curved for your arms and the durability make it more comfortable for kicking. It may be smaller, but it holds up well!

El mejor pull kick
Hidrofóbica, se seca muy rápido al sacar del agua. Agarre ergonómico , flotabilidad media y te permite mantener la posición más hidrodinámica del estilo a practicar. Soy nadadora nueva desarrollando habilidades de intermedio y comparado a las tablas comunes que había utilizado debo de decir que es la mejor pull kick que existe y me ha ayudado en mejorar mis sesiones de entrenamiento

Great board, worth the money.
My 9 year old son has two of these (he misplaced his first but has since been found). He looks so relaxed and comfortable using this kick board versus his team mates. When he originally lost the first board I asked if he wanted the same one or something else and he insisted on the same board.

Roll as you go
The TYR hydrofoil kickboard is the nicest kickboard i have used in a while. It is a good compromise on size; it isn’t too big or small. THe shape makes it easy to put your hands at the top of the board; and when you do the curved profile makes for a comfortable more natural swim as it encourages your body to roll as you go. 4* as my previous TYR kickboard pulled double duty as a kickboard and the new design doesn’t really allow for that.

Compact and light
This is a relatively small board, but it's buoyancy is great. I love it, it's super light and portable, fantastic for kick drills. The shape makes it very hydrodynamic and faster than the larger Speedo and Tyr boards. It helps with proper body positioning during the kick drills as it allows for side to side rotation in the water; also, i find that i can keep my back more straight with this board. This product is meant for swimming drills and it's fantastic for that purpose, it's not for someone who'd like the board to support their whole upper body weight.
