Great RACING suit

I bought this suit after doing numerous searches and not wanting to spend a lot of money on a suit. I am a Masters Swimmer, racing for the first time in 30 years and needed something more than my training drag suit. This TYR Fusion 2 Jammer was exactly what I need: the price was good and the fit was what I expected ( I went 1 size down ). I used the suit only to race in, I did not wear it to warm up in or train in it - this is a racing suit. The water ran right off this suit and I couldn't be happier with it. I read several reviews about it ripping etc, racing do that from when I swam age group competative - you put the suit on, race, then take it off. This is not a training suit - you can do it but it will not hold up like a training suit / drag suit etc which are designed for the daily usage in the pool. I hope this review can clarify some of the negative reviews.....I am happy with what I got and at the price

Suposed to fit tight

This was a great suit for the price. I don't know if it was the idea of wearing a suit like this that shaved a bit of time off my kids times, but whether it was or wasn't, they both dropped a bit of time (1-2 seconds)in their 50 free. These are supposed to be very tight. You never want a jammer to be big enough to catch any water on the turn. That creates drag. I chose their current size when I ordered them. The elastic was very tight in the leg, and both my boys are pretty thin. It did loosen up a bit in the water. But definitely was tighter than their regular jammers. They were pleased with how this suit worked, and wore it for all their meets.

Fit as expected EXCEPT for the LENGTH

The product actually fit my 7yo boy very nicely. I like that it is snug fit all round EXCEPT FOR the length. My 7yo is a very slim boy with average height. I believe the jammers is built for very tall skinny boys. Tall with long thighs. It actually fit my 7yo very well, snug fit throughout BUT it was very long...it went below his knee cap (covering his entire knee cap). I read that it should end above the knee cap for the swimwear to be approved at major meets. So I am holding on to it til my son grows taller (hopefully very soon). And hopefully when he grows taller, his hips and waist can remain as it is today.

Exactly what I expected

I found them to be true to measured size, in other words my waist measures 32 inches and I got the 32 inch and it fits. Don't go by your pant size since they are usually smaller (I wear 31 and 30 inch pants, why? I have no idea) They do fit snug, but they are supposed to be snug. And they feel really snug when dry. Once you get in the water they loosen up a bit. I would even consider getting a 30 next time. And yes, they are tight at the knees, but again, once they are wet, they feel fine. I use them so often, I am going to get a second pair.

Run big. Recommend at least 2 sizes down.

These suits tend to run big. Our son usually wears a size 24 speedo during the regular season which fit him fairly tight at first. Bought this TYR Fusion 2 size 20 for championship season and it went on fairly easy. I would recommend going down at least 2 sizes. Results were significant time reductions in 8 of 11 total events. We told our son, the faster you swim, the more the suit will help you. Maybe it was psychological or maybe it really did help. Bottom line is we’ll definitely do it again next season.

This feel like a thin skin

My kid is in a compatative swim team and i know what to buy. I didn't want to buy carbon flex since it is just too much for his age. May be another 5 years later. This feel like a thin skin, like highly elastic stocking. Very good quality. My boy is 7 years old ordered size one size down 22 was a little room for him. But I decided keep it for the next year since it is high quality! And I ordered size 20 it is perfect fit. He is skinny and small in his age. Best buy

Tight Suit!

This suit is made of quality material; which means the material is flexible but not loose on the skin. This is a good suit & no water enters the suit during flip turns which was a problem with my last suit. It is a little more $$$ than other options but you get what you pay for & this suit will outperform & outlast those cheaper options. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because the 'cuff' on the shorts above the knee is tight. Once you hop in the water, the tightness goes away. Overall, a great suit.

Coffee For The Brain Reviews

This is my first pair of jammers. I am starting out swimming and training for a half Ironman. After swimming in regular swim trunks I finally took the plunge to wearing these. These jammers are a great product. They have held up in my training as I swim several days a week for an hour or more for months now. They have held up to the test of time. Like some prior reviews they are tight around above the knee, but the only time I notice is when I have them on before my swim. Once I am in the water it in not an issue at all. Actually, I would rather have this problem as opposed to being too baggy. TYR has once again produced a quality product. I will continue to support TYR products in my training process.

La cintura queda como se espera pero las costuras de las piernas estan muy ajustadas tuve que dar unos tirones para medio extenderlas es feo escuchar como truenas las costaras pero ya quedo mejor el material es excelente

Decepcionado por el producto!

Realmente no me convenció del todo, no fue lo que me esperaba, es más, pensé que por ser de la marca TYR vendría con buena tela pero no, el precio no es tan bajo a comparación de otros de mejor calidad, así que no lo recomiendo, es más, con las etiquetas que traía pareciera que fuera pirata!?
