Love them!

I have these in small and medium. I’m a very experienced swimmer. I love them! If you have smaller hands or are newer to using paddles I’d start with the smaller sizes. They work really well with training for proper technique. I have used many different brands and I love these ones. I also recommend measuring your hand and compare to the size chart.

I really like these paddles

I've recently gotten back into swimming and decided I need my own equipment. I saw a couple good reviews of these TYR Catalyst paddles (from Olympic athletes, among others) so I decided to give them a try. I am a big guy (6'2" and 210 lbs) and I wouldn't go any bigger than this for myself but maybe if you are looking for to do shorter power sets the really big paddles would probably be good for that. At first the Medium size felt too big but now that I've gotten stronger over a few months I have built up to doing 1000 yards pull set and I'm just tired at the end. If you are a smaller person or want to do speed sets you probably want the smaller sizes. I might buy another smaller set at some point for speed work but the Medium size is working great for me on the endurance sets right now.

Did not like the material it was made of.

I have been swimming with the TYR Catalyst 2 (sm) for a few years now and wanted to up my game. Bought the TYR Catalyst (Med) to try it out. The bigger fit from small to medium was good and adds to the challenge. The Catalyst definitely adds to improving your pull strength but did not feel as smooth as the Catalyst 2. They are very different in shape. The material that Catalyst was made of prompted me to return the paddles. It just felt too plastic for me. Plus, I managed to find a TYR Catalyst 2 in medium and decided to keep that instead. Just not for me but worth a try! It may work for you.

Be careful with the size you order! Ordering too big can injure you if you are not experienced.

I like these a lot, but I bought a size that’s just a little too big. Still great for pull sets and working on strength, but not for long distances. I ordered the red pair, should have bought the size down. But again, still works really well, my favorite style of paddle yet. Excited to keep this pair and get another (albeit smaller) pair.

These are great swim paddles!

I just love these paddles! They are strong, durable and the cords make adjustment easy peasy. They have just the right about of pliability and the holes make for good resistance. I love all things TYR and had been looking for these. I swim every day ( training for triathlon and OWS). These are really great! I only bought the one size, but hope to buy more! The fact that the sizes all come in different colors makes them really cool too!

Très bonne qualité, grandeur parfaite pour mes mains.

Très bon produit. Je l’utilise dans les sessions maître-nageur intermédiaire mais c’est un produit qui peut aider quiconque à placer ses mains correctement. Pour choisir la bonne grandeur des plaquettes selon les besoins, j’aurais souhaité qu’on indique le nombre de cm autour des doigts les plaquettes doivent être pour un nageur débutant vs intermédiaire vs expert

Me encantan!!

Están en diferentes colores, están fuera de lo común, su diseño es transparente y de acuerdo al tamaño es el color que se ve en la orilla. Tienen una liga adicional por cualquier cosa; en el caso que se rompa. independiente a que las ligas están tan resistentes y diseñadas para que las pongas y acomodes acorde a lo largo y ancho de tus manos.

Not bad paddles

They look funky and cool with the transparent design and construction, that is why I bought them. This is TYR's take on the renown and tested Strokemaster paddles that are ok, however they sit to flat on the palm for my likening and so does these TYR ones. Saying this though, a lot of swimmers would perhaps disagree with me.
