Incredibly stiff

This is comfortable for a while. But becomes increasingly uncomfortable and painful the longer it’s worn.

Gives great support

After trying many back supports over the years, I have found this Mabis support to be the best. It is adjustable and I find tIhe fit very good. I do use the washing machine to keep it clean and it still holds up very well.

Covers a good amount of the lower lumbar and the lower thorax. It is a good brace for all light weight work. It would give ample protection for most people for a long time. I am rough on my braces. I have had 4 spinal operations and still push myself to do some heavy physical labor. It will do good for a few years for me and that is sufficient. Really helps support you.

Good, can be better, but satisfied

This was for a family member who has herniated disc and later on went to have a surgery. Wanted something with real metal stiff backing. It seems to be working. The only negative is that the support is not contoured for lower back. I would love to find one with stiff metal backing inserts which are contoured for lower back.

Disappointed

I had great expectations for this lumbar support, but was disappointed. After about an hour of wearing, it began to roll up at the waist and was very uncomfortable. I am not a small person like shown in the picture, but I have back problems and cannot walk or stand for long periods without a brace. Unfortunately for me, this was not what I need.

This brace is THE BEST one for lower lumbar support

This brace is THE BEST one for lower lumbar support. I bought this for my niece who has 2 absolutely bulging discs in her lower spine and works in a warehouse. She's tried others like the Copper Fit braces but none do the trick like this one. A little uncomfortable if you have a sit down job but she's a Line Leader and is on her feet 8+ hrs a day and it's perfect for her.

Not made for petite people

I ordered this for my mom. It provides good support, but is too wide for petite people in the front.

Works great

This back brace is working great for me, I tried some of the more pricey ones thinking that they would be better.....not even close! This one just overall fits me better and it makes my back far less sore and tired during a 12 hour work day as a nurse.

Decent Product

Decent belt with moderate support. Would have preferred more contoured metal inserts, uncomfortable around the hips.
