Beware: product does not work with K2 model like some reviews say
I always read reviews before making purchases on Amazon, and I want to make it very clear that this hose is NOT a reliable solution for using with the K2 model because even when elevated 3-4ft high there is not enough water flow to maintain pressure or wash a vehicle. (The hose was designed for K4 & K5 models). Other buyers who left reviews commented they were able to use the hose with their K2 washers by elevating the water source, but in my experience this solution did not work consistently even when a siphon was created to generate flow when the bucket was on the top rung of a 4ft ladder. The water flow was so anemic that using it was laughable when it cuts out. I am disappointed that the other reviews were misleading and do not wish for other buyers to make the same mistake. Moving forward I’ll stick to pressure washing on my K2 model with the garden hose which works well. TLDR: Karcher makes quality products, but this hose is NOT designed and not a solution for using their K2 pressure washing machine instead of using a garden hose attached to a faucet.

Posting to help troubleshooting
Had trouble getting pressure initially from the lake about 4 ft lower than the pressure washer. Filled a bucket and put it level with the pressure washer and it took about 3 minutes to get full pressure through the system but finally started to work with full pressure. The pressure is higher out the nozzle when hooked to the garden hose than the lake but its adequate and better than not having anything down at the lake dock which has no other water source. you may even want to prime it with a garden hose before try passive flow.

THIS HOSE WORKS WITH K2 MODEL!!!
HI GUYS , I HAVE K2 MODEL,AND WAS CONCERNED THAT IT MAY NOT WORK. I HAD A PROBLEM WITH GETTING IT SUCKING WATER FROM THE BEGINNING , BUT CONTACTED KARCHER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS ADVISED TO ELEVATE BUCKET WITH WATER 18" ABOVE GROUND. IT WORKED , BUT MAKE SURE THAT HOSE IS FULL OF WATER (SIFONE IT) AND IT WILL WORK!!!

Works great with the Karcher K3 and the water bucket elevated!
Amazing product. I use this with the Karcher K3 pressure washer! Much better than the Caraid. The suction hose allows me to use this strong pressure washer with the water source being directly from a bucket of water. Have no access to a garden hose at my apartment. Figured out through trial and error it is best to have the bucket sitting on top of another bucket upside down so that the water source is slightly elevated helping suck the water towards the pressure washer for the first initial pressure build up for a few seconds. After that it's instant portable washing power provided you need just a good power source outlet. I also bought the great foam cannon attachment with some "Meguiars gold class car soap". In love with this thing!

A hose is a hose, it does what it's supposed to. The main reason I'm writing this review is to let everyone know that it DOES work with a 1600psi K2 washer, just like it says in the chart (when scrolling through product images). It does help to have the water source elevated and it takes a while for the unit to prime (turn it on ans squeeze the trigger.. you will see the water get sucked up and then it'll take another 30 seconds or so for the unit to fully prime). So.. if you're looking for a way to mostly wash your toys (cars, etc) using standing water, it is not necessary to spend more money on higher psi models. This hose does work with K2 1600psi.

Easier to suck like a straw
This worked great once we stopped trying to prime it using the instructions and instead just sucked it like a straw to get all the air out. People say it helps to elevate the bucket but we didn’t find that was necessary.

Hard to keep Primed
Back flow valve is very poorly executed hard to keep hose primed, maybe my expectations were to high. Also If you plan on using this on another brand machine you’ll need to put a standard hose fitting on it

No succiona cómo se ilustra en los folletos de Karcher
Solo la he utilizado una ocasión y el funcionamiento cómo tal es más complicado que poner la manguera en una cubeta y la hidrolavadora comience a succionar, tuve que hacer un proceso similar al de extraer gasolina de un vehículo con una manguera, para que esta, se llene y la máquina detecte el agua y comience a funcionar. Otro punto negativo es que constantemente agarra aire y hay que estarla purgando. El proceso de purgado es más fácil cuando lo haces con una toma de agua, para hacerlo con una cubeta fue complicado y tardado como lo menciono arriba.

Excelente manguera succionadora de agua!
Esta manguera funciona perfectamente con una karcher K2, excelente para no depender de una manguera conectada siempre a la llave del agua, puedes seguir usando cubetas de agua y está manguera hará el trabajo de succionar el agua y poder usar la karcher. El servicio de Amazon excelente!

Buena manguera de succión
La manguera cumple su proposito de succionar agua de un balde para suministra agua a la hidrolavadora, el acople roscado tiene sello correcto que no genera fugas, los materiales son de buena calidad que a pesar de se de plastico con el uso correcto pueden durar bastante, la manguera de 3 metros es suficiente para utilizarla en el hogar, la he utilizado con una hidrolavadora K2 Universal Car edition y funciona sin problemas para lavar el auto.

Not for Karcher gas pressure washers
I saw a note in the description stating it was " Compatible with Kärcher pressure washer rated 1800PSI or greater" This should be reworded to "Any ELECTRIC pressure washer..." as it won't even attach to my Karcher gas unit. The suction hose has a female fitting on it. I have returned the unit, but I would also make the comment that the hose is very stiff and would have been difficult to keep from jumping out of the bucket etc. if I had got it to work then moved the washer.

Works great
Worked great. Allowed me to wash my condo decks from a 5 gallon bucket. You have to run your power washer and fiddle with the hose in the bucket to get the water flowing initially, but you get the hang of it quickly enough. Once the washer is pressurized, it runs just as if it were plugged into a hose normally. I had to refill the bucket about 3 times to wash one deck. -1 star due to high price. I think it should be about $10 less.
