Water from ice tasted bitter until I ran it in the dishwasher

Update:. After running this ice cube maker through the dishwasher the bitter taste went away. Dish soap and warm water didn't clear it up completely but the dishwasher did. I love the ice that comes out of this now. I added another star to this Original review: I love the ice cubes these make, but I've had them for a while and as the ice cubes melt the resulting water tastes bitter. I'm hoping in time this will go away. I have regular plastic ice cube trays and the resulting melted ice tastes like the clean filtered water I use to make my ice.

Nice size

It's a good size for cubes but it's pretty hard to get them out of the tray. I had to add cold water and try to maneuver it into the sides of the cubes, flip the tray on a plate, then try to squeeze each one out. It was tough but nice size of cubes.
