Spa Day
I read many reviews about this before buying it and was well aware of people saying it's too small for big hands and too small for feet. They are correct. It's fine for my hands which is all I planned on using it for anyway. I'm not sure what temp this heats up too but it was probably 20° hotter than I expected. Overall I do love this product for the price.

Small space for hands than I thought
The product itself is nice. No real temperature control as far as setting it at 90 or 100 degrees or anything like that. It did warm up nicely though. The paraffin and warmth does make the hands feel so good while they are in the warm paraffin and after the paraffin is removed from the hands. Again, it's just smaller that I thought it would be. It really helps arthritis!!!!
It does take a long time to heat up, but the price I paid I assumed that it would. I had my left arthritic thumb joint replaced and it really helps in the healing process. Plus my arthritic fingers are much better. i’m 66 and it makes my skin look younger

Works
It does take a little over an hour to heat up. But once it’s heated it works great. The paraffin smells lovely. Works best on hands cause it is small. I wear a size 5.5 shoe and my foot barley fits in. So pros and cons. But it was inexpensive and does the trick. Would not recommend for feet of normal sizes.

Works as expected …might be better if it was a little wider
This works as expected. However, my hands are a big larger than most women so it’s a bit tight trying to get the whole hand in it. This is not an issue for me as I’m really trying to use it on one of my joints that is inflamed, per a doctor, so I don’t need to put my whole hand in it.

Great product for the price! If you're looking for a basic wax bath you can't go wrong with this one. It's small, so if you have large hands, maybe look for a larger one. Yes, it takes three hours to melt the wax......if it took any less you would burn your hands when you put them in there. just plan ahead! ****maybe purchase extra wax as this one does not come with too much.....enough to get started though! Great value for the money!!

Bought this product and it was delivered on time but on reading the instructions saw that the unit runs on 120v not 240v. Sent a message to Seller and have received no response as to whether it is safe to use in Australia or if an adaptor is required. Nowhere in the Description of the Product on Amazon does it say that it is not sold with an Australian plug, so am returning the item

Good little device for the price.
I've used it twice now and I think it may actually be helping in terms of pain. The wax took 1.75h to melt; however I had to cut the wax into pieces because it came as one block and it was too big to fit in the container. Although it wasn't too difficult for me to cut I find the container is a little bit shallower than it should be because it doesn't cover my entire hand so if the container were even a couple inches deeper it would be perfect. I think it's a good little unit for that price certainly. I do leave the wax in the container after I remove it from my hands since I'm the only one using it. The warm level is fine. The one problem is because the unit is not that large if I try and spread my hand out as you're supposed to, my thumb & 5th finger kind of touched the sides of the unit on the inside so if the shape was just slightly larger it would be perfect. However it does cover all my fingers. It would also be good if the handle on the cover was a little bit easier to remove and place because it accidentally slipped from my hands into the melted wax so I had to remove all the wax from the inside and the outside of the cover and I think it was only because it was hard for me to grab the handle. But as I said at the start I think it's a good little unit and given that my physiotherapy clinic is not allowing paraffin treatments due to covid, this particular unit will do just fine. Oh I also don't have a large hand so not sure if someone with a larger hand would have enough room inside the unit!

It melts wax
No dislikes. What's to dislike about a product that does what it's supposed to do. Takes approximately 90-100 minutes to melt 1 lb/2.2 kg of paraffin wax. When fully melted wax is maintained at 61.9 Celsius/143.4 Fahrenheit. Working hands feels warm. Office/never seen a hard days physical labour hot. This serves dual purpose. Secondary is treating our hands and feet and primary making fire starter out of cardboard. It's a great buy at $20.00 and use it the way its supposed and try not to bang it around I can see it lasting a good while. If you're expecting it to warm soup or melt the was so fast that you would get first-second degree burns then this is not the unit for you.
