The holy grail of wands
My hair is almost to my butt and this little wand here can take all of it and I still have room for more hair. I love this little tool so much, I can do curls in half the time it would take me with curling iron. It has a thick base and goes smaller which gives great right curls but if you want those beautiful beach waves then run your fingers through it and I swear you’ll have the best waves. I don’t even have to use any products to keep it curled. I have course wavy to curly hair. 10/10 would buy again!

Overall happy!
I bought this to replace a 15 year old curling iron that stopped working. This heats up really fast and gets way hotter than my old one ever did. I bought this one specifically because it doesn’t have that little folding metal foot that you have to fold out of the way when using it. This one has a rest at the base and the tip for keeping it off the counter. And they’re low profile enough to not get in the way when curling. My main complaint is that while the cord does rotate 360 degrees, it didn’t really rotate on its own. The cord ended up getting really twisty. Maybe that will be less of an issue after the cord relaxes from more use. But for now it’s very annoying. Overall I’m happy with how it works and it makes curls that hold very well.

Holds my fine thin hair...which many curling irons do not
I needed to find a replacement iron for my old one that my daughter borrowed...and lost. My old one was seasoned and worked amazing. Temp was perfect and it held my fine hair with no issue. Granted it was covered in hairspray and product build up...but this allowed it to be seasoned and not burn my hair. I have purchased a few different curling irons to replace my old one...including the same style. ALL did not hold my hair or come up to a temp needed. I took a chance on this style after reading a few of the reviews. Pros: It holds my hair great. It comes up to temp really quickly and actually has low to high heat. The dial for the setting is easy to use....but you do have to get used to it. I tend to hit the dial while using it and move the heat setting on accident. I recommend you start at the lowest setting if you have fine hair and work from there. This curling iron is hotter that older styles, so lower temp is better to start with on fine hair. Love the cord length. Sharp looking product. Not a cheaply made curling iron Cons: Not really a con...but the temp dial could be made a little harder to turn to allow users to not move it on accident when using. I feel that the low to high setting is off. Unit on 5 seems to be almost the same temp as the highest setting. The manufacturer should look into adjusting. I just have adjusted how I use it. With fine hair...high temps can cause breaking, which is why low is used and recommended. This unit seems pretty hot for low. Overall I recommend trying. I am happy with my purchase and hide it from my daughter. lol

This curling iron is very hot
Even at the lowest setting, the iron will burn your ears, scalp, and fingers. The iron is heavy and I have a weak right shoulder so getting it around my head to style my hair is hard. I think it would be better if used by a second person on your hair.

Dial to set temp is too easy to turn while trying to use curling iron.
This is an inexpensive curling iron that heats up quickly and high enough to curl hair in a short amount of time. My hair texture is fine, and has natural wave - but I have a ton of it, and this iron can curl big sections at a time. There isn't a lot of slip to the surface, so it grips hair well. I'm not sure how it will do in terms of damage though, as I have only used it a handful of times so far. The one big issue I have with it is that the dial to set the temp on mine is super easy to turn, and it is right where my hand needs to be - so when I try to curl a section around the rod, the dial slips. This happens over and over. I will probably look for a different iron due to this silly design issue. YMMV.

Worth the price
Wanted the loose curl look and this helped definitely accomplish that. Doesn’t get super hot but I have fine hair so didn’t want scorching hot iron. Id buy it again

Not worth It.
I was extremely disappointed with this purchase. As you can see from the photos, I did not receive a quality iron..it has been used and definitely not worth the hype. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this product.

The placement of the heat dial is troublesome
To be honest, I ordered the Curling Iron (1 1/2in) before thoroughly reading the reviews lol. Don't be deceived by the thousands of reviews averaging to a positive 4.5 star rating. The reviews include a mix of different products, such as, a hair dryer and flat iron. Most of the good reviews seemed to be for the hair dryer and not the curling iron. After reading reviews specifically for the 1 1/2in curling iron, I tried to cancel the item before it shipped but it didn't allow me to lol. I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it so I tried it out once I received it. Luckily, the one I received didn't look used but it did look slightly tampered with - as if someone opened the packaging to see and feel the product. There were small streaks on the curler as if someone tried to wipe it...? The biggest issue with this curler (personally) is the placement of the heat setting dial. It's right where you'd wrap your index finger around so when you start the curling motion, you'll catch yourself accidentally switching the heat to a different setting. I have thin/ fine hair so I tried the recommended low heat setting of 5 (max is 30). It works well for my hair but it gets pretty hot. I'd recommend using a heat-resistent glove since the cool tip gets really hot even at the lowest setting. The curler isn't as terrible as I imagined it to be (based on other reviews). It heats up quick and does the job of curling your hair so it's a solid 3-star for me. Though, that heat dial placement might drive me mad enough to throw it out a window lol...

Be careful
While it does the job, it gets VERY hot, and I am used to curling irons that DON'T rest on the surface of anything. If you buy this, don't out anything underneath it flammable, the end touches the surface. Take awhile to cool down too, I leave it on a steel surface.

Never Buy
After curling my hair, the way the clamp worked, it literally folded my hair to the point I thought it was going to singe right off. I was almost in tears thinking I was going to lose my hair. It fringed it so bad that the ends felt like fake burnt hair. I would NOT recommend this product at all.
