coolest tool ever. I use it for the duck tub. because the splash it refills immediately. Can drain the tub and turn on faucet and walk away. Works great.

Is yours LEAKING? Your water pressure is too high!
If I recall, this product says it can be used at up to 50 psi water pressure. It is a dirty liar. My water is at ~45 psi, and it leaked continuously. I was prepared to send it back and write a scathing review like several of the others, but I needed a pressure reducer for my greenhouse which is on the same water line anyway, and I figured I'd give it a chance. It worked! I bought a 25 psi inline regulator for I think $8 on Amazon, and it solved the problem. Aside from that brief issue, the filler works perfectly. I added a cheap UV disinfectant light and a small pond pump to my stock tank, and with this filler, the water stays full, fresh, and clean.

Promising but cheaply made
I found these and was excited to connect several troughs to a pressurized water system to ensure they are always full, especially during the hot summer. While this product is fairly easy to assemble and install, I quicky found out that having plastic threading is a major problem. On multiple occasions, the hose or quick connect fitting has disconnected from the unit due to the plastic threading stripping. I attempted to use a silicon adhesive and later super glue, but once they are stripped you might as well throw it in the trash. Ordered several of the aluminum base models so hopefully will have better luck. These aren't worth the price, which has increased several times since I bought the first one.

Great even for chickens
I am so glad that i found this item. I was going to use a float valve for a swamp cooler for our chicken water tank. But i saw this and decided to give it a try. It works great. It was super easy to install on our water barrel. Our barrel has a large square opening cut into it so I just had to set it on the side of the barrel and attach the hose. Our chickens no longer go thirsty or they no longer have a muddy mess when we forget to turn off the water to the barrel. So nice to not have to worry about that anymore. We do check on it but have not had any problems.

Great Pool Filler Valve, a couple of notes
I saw that another buyer had purchased this and followed his lead to fabricate a pool filler valve similar to one that costs over $110. It seemed like a challenge I couldn't pass up. The valve works great as a pool filler. Thanks a million to that other buyer for his pics! I have a couple of notes for others doing the same thing. First, note the advice to hone out one side of a 3/4" Tee so that it will slide snugly over a 3/4" PVC pipe. You need a rat-tail, or round, file to do this. I had two, but they were very old and not sharp enough to cut quickly. In hindsight, I would have purchased a new file as it took me a couple of hours to do this. Alternatively, you could buy a drill-mounted rasp or rotary file but would have to take care not to overcut so that the pipe won't be snug enough. Second, note that others purchased this with a pressure-reduction valve. In my case at least, this was absolutely necessary as the Trough-O-Matic spewed large overspray during operation off of our house hose pressure. After installation of the reducing valve, it works perfectly. I also purchase a right-angle hose adapter since the weight of the hose puts stress on the housing. Works great! I don't leave it connected all the time, just when filling (hoses aren't meant to be under constant pressure). I installed a quick-disconnect fitting. But when I do use it, I can turn on the faucet and forget about it until hours later when I can come back to turn the water off.

Great solution
We mounted this on our two large inground fish tanks/pond to keep them topped up with water as the levels were dropping every day. It works fantastic and we are so happy with the results! We connected the two tubs with another line under the walkway and then added this product to the larger one and it keeps both ponds full to the top.

Great float
I have my float attached to a lg shopping plastic basket you can purchase at Walmart for the bag less option and it works wonderfully! Highly recommend this float easy to assemble and I've had no issue at all with it.

Ich habe das Schwimmerventil gemäß Anleitungen im WWW (Amazon.com, YouTube usw.) verwendet. wie hier z.B: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RTVI077W7MVNG/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B000B4GTPK Funktioniert soweit super; Ich möchte hier anregen, den passenden Schlauchadapter optional mitanzubieten, denn die bei uns in den Baumärkten angebotenen haben ein zu kurzes Gewinde, sodass der Dichtungsring nicht richtig angepresst wird. Habe mich beraten lassen aber es gibt im Baumarkt wirklich nichts geeignetes, folglich war der Anschluss nicht dicht; Habe mir dann mit Teflonband beholfen, dann wars dicht.
