Great for all animals!
As a wildlife rehabber, this is the best ground house I have found! Raccoons even go in it! The bottom coming out to clean is a life saver. I dont screw the top on, I just sit it their. That way no fingers or paws get pinched in the metal. So less work. Easy to essemble. Took me less then 10 min.

Lightweight for 95 pound rated?
First off, I'd like to say how nice this looks. It looks like it's the right size for my needs. But, it would have been easier to assemble had the long bolts not been only a thread or 2 long enough to stick thru to put the nut on. Then, the roof...oh, the roof. That was mighty fun to assemble. You have to align the back piece on the inside and then try to locate where the hinge screws are suppose to go. There is no pre-drilled holes so it's a sit it on, make a pencil mark, flip it over, find the spot, try to start the screws, get it together only to find out that you'd got it too far to one side and too far back so it doesn't close right. Then, remove the screws and start more holes to try and make it work right this time. Sure would have been nice to have a template, or at least they had pre-drilled those holes in the right spot. All this time you're flipping it over the shingle material is coming off like sand. I just barely got it aligned right and put on. Just hope the wood doesn't expand and contract too much and totally throw it off and it not close correctly. Then, we come to the flooring. Nice that you can slip them in but...95 pound rated? Without a cross brace for the middle of the drop ins to sit on? Gotta buy some wood and reinforce it because there is no way it'll hold up a dog that large without any cross bracing for the middles of those pieces to sit on top of. Oh, they have their own little pieces front to back but it needs left to right, side to side for that to sit on to adequately hold a dog more than 40 pounds. BUT, I guess for the price you can't expect perfection. I'll just have to add my own bracing when I put in some sort of insulating material for winter since that slat bottom is open and cold air can just come right up thru it. Would I buy it again with what I know? Probably look for another type so, no. Will it work for my needs? Once I finish all the modifications to make it actually hold up my dog, yes. But, that's going to cost me another $50 to reinforce it to it actually does hold my dog up to 95 pounds.

Great quality for a low price
I have a 14-year-old border collie. She has a hard time getting up so this house is very helpful for her.

Missing parts
*Edit* - the company sent correct screws to finish building the dog house. Also, it has been raining a lot in Florida and the dog house hasn’t warped. It’s still holding up so I’m a little more confident. My chihuahua loves his mansion. Very cute dog house . I got this for my chihuahua mix for when he wants to go outside he’ll have a “mansion” to relax in…. However, my order was missing screws for the roof. Meaning if the wind blows hard enough the roof will fly off . I reached out to the company and specified the exactly screws I was missing and I was sent wrong screws and German instructions for a different dog house. I wrote them again and now they aren’t responding. Waste of money because I refuse to drag this to UPS or pay for pickup . Thanks to Amazon for giving me $25 to buy the screws myself. But If I were you I would find another dog house . You also have to buy weatherproof spray/paint for this which is another added cost because it’s wood. Didn’t think this through as I live in a hurricane state. This dog house came with cosmetic damage & USPS reported the box was damaged but not by them so that means this company sent that raggedy box out of their warehouse. So for this price I would definitely search for another one .

Description should say Medium /Large
When the "small" dimensions were just a little to small, I thought the next size up, the "medium" would be the best. The actual product says "medium/ large". Not the size I thought it would be, but decent quality so I'll keep it.

Good house for the price
So this is a good dog house for the price. I have 3 large pitbulls and they fit without a problem (not all 3 at the same time) it's a nice looking house and it was really easy to put together. I got all my parts and I didn't have anything damage. It rain a lil bit and the roof got bubbles so I don't think it will last long under a lot of rain. But like I said, it's good for the price and my dogs have shelter

BEAUTIFULL, PRICE WAS GOOD, DORS THE JOB
I liked everything but the roof. It has some green material that crumbles. I do not understand why they put that product there. Even the bare wood would have been better. It is messy and do not accomplishes nothing. It crumbles at the touch and or everytime you open close the top. The openning closing mechanism is very convenient, but extrimely delicate. I do not trust it so I use a pice of wood if I need to introduce my heat to avoid an accident. Once assembled, soooooo beautiful and great wood smell

Strong doghouse
The doghouse came just in time, it’s made out of real wood and comes with everything needed to build, you will need the right tools but a flathead screw driver should still get the job done. The dog house is fairly large and I bought it for a small medium dog, the doghouse instructions were not very clear but still explained well a enough, it being made out of wood can cause splinters, sturdiness is questionable but that’s how you build it, wood is strong but screwing the nails in tight will make it strong but the house has a wobble to it, when picking it up it’s not that heavy maybe 40 pounds or less when built, I recommend not carrying it by roof.

Ideal for men sent to the dog house
I bought this for myself for when the missus' nagging gets too much and I need somewhere to go and hide. Assembly was easy and the quality is good. It sits outside in all weathers and after about 6 month its still dry inside. The entrance hole is too small for a grown man but the whole roof lifts up so I can climb in and curl up inside.

Excellent quality - highly recommend.
I did lots of reading of reviews before buying this item. I am so glad that I did (always a good idea to read buyers' reviews!)... It is a well-made and quality pet house. I know it's labelled as a dog house, but we have 2 cats and I bought it for them for outside use when it rains. Scotland's weather tests most outdoor items and I must admit I was skeptical that the pet house would be as weatherproof as supposed to be. I can honestly say it is a really great asset to any outdoor area for pets. It would fit a small dog easily with plenty of space... or 2 large cats. I've put a memory-foam bath mat down over the flooring and it is dry after a big rain. Excellent quality.

Great Sturdy Kennel
Fairly easy to assemble by myself (getting on a bit female) although take care with the roof as the holes for the hinges are not marked and I had to reposition. The lid does not open completely vertically so don’t position as such. Lid is heavy so this is the trickiest if you have no help. Diagram not brilliant at all for the way the screws are positioned at the back. However, very sturdy, well made and I used the box to make a liner as the kennel is for my cats (and parcel deliveries).

Dog kennel
So I’ve had this quite a while now and to say it has weathered well would be a lie. The material on the roof has come away, the inside base doesn’t fit the best, the gaps are quite big in between. The wood has rotted and for the price I would have expected it to last a bit longer than this and it wasn’t exactly cheap. Won’t be buying another that’s for sure. Other than that it would have been a nice little kennel, the size is perfect for my dog and it did look the part at first but now it just looks a mess.

Roof broken
Real shame, this looks like a sturdy kennel but unfortunately, part of the roof is broken. Option to send it back and have a replacement sent but they only cover £8 of P&P, this no way covers the cost for me to return the whole thing. There is also a gap of approx 1/2 inch in the floor because of the way the floor panels fit.
