AWESOME!
We moved and kept our business dealings in a trailer we pulled along with us. These Trimax locks are basically impossible to cut, pick or remove without the key. We will recommend these to anyone!

Nice locks, Just keep them maintained
Some people have had trouble with these locks. Im still holding my doubts, but so far so good. After reading reviews about these locks rusting, i rubbed oil all over the locking pin and inside. There is a small allen head screw to keep the locking pin from coming a the way out. I put some lock tite on the threads to make sure it cannot vibtate out while hauling the trailer. So its been several months now and its only slightly rusted and havent ouled since i opened the packed and first used them. They are easy to re-key if you know to place the pins inside. I bought ywo seperate locks and just re-keyed them to the same key since the only other option to have the same key for two locks requires tou to buy a three pack of locks for some reason. I should mention, i live about 60 miles north of the gulf coast and work at the beach often with my to trailer so if mine were prone to rust, they would be pretty bad by now. Just keep them oiled, put some lock tite on the screw for the lockong pin and they should work pretty well for you.

Won’t fit on a uhaul box, but it’s a sturdy, heavy lock.
Bought it to go on a uhaul box in front of my house. Unfortunately didn’t fit. The lock loop on the box didn’t stick out far enough for this to latch. AND, one of the keys was severely bent straight out of the packaging. Will probably keep it cause it seems like a great lock.

Different experience than the other Reviewers
After reading the Reviews on the Trimax THPXL "Hockey Puck" lock I bought the Trimax lock. Numerous Reviewers complained becaise they couldn't order matching keys. I absolutely didn't want matching keys so the Trimax lock looked like a reasonable buy: price was good, I dismissed the freezing & rust comments (seriously, it's a $19 lock). The matching keys thing has become comical to me... 'cause I ordered 2 locks & they both came keyed alike. I then ordered a 3rd lock & it came keyed the same as the other 2. Now I've got 3 locks all keyed alike... & I wanted each lock to have different keys. So I'm amused. I'll just put 'em on the shelf 'cause we use this type of lock for numerous job-sites (& no doubt one of my jobs will require keyed alike locks) & I'll order a Master or other brand Hockey Puck lock to accomplish my goal of differently keyed locks for the storage trailers on this particular job-site & move on. Simply said, if you use "Hockey Puck" locks the Trimax THPXL is just fine for $19.

Seems solid paired up with the blaylock T33
Seems like a very solid lock. Don't know how pick proof it is. Paired up with the Blaylock T33 seems like a really formidable setup, something that only a angle grinder could defeat, for a reasonable (but not cheap cheap) cost. Additionally, added a washer on each side to take any slack out of the pin. Also added a piece of 3/4" steel pipe in the middle. Between the washers and pipe it takes away any gap so a hacksaw blade can't get on the pin and strengthens the whole set up.

This is the lock you want to buy!
This lock fits and locks with ease. I’ve purchased other pick locks because they were cheaper, but had to send them back. This lock is easy to use…you won’t be disappointed.

A Fair Lock
Using this lock on my enclosed cargo trailer. Lock is heavy and works okay. Has a standard straight tumbler keyway (not a cylinder key). The lock started to surface rust a bit on the inside cavity after a couple days (summer humidity in Miami is tough on hardware). A little WD-40 sprayed inside and I have not seen any more rust since even after hard rains. I purchased only one lock so cannot comment cost to obtain keyed alike. It is a basic hockey puck style lock. Not the cheapest, not the best, better than Master brand locks IMO. If I were buying again, I would purchase a Baylock (Blaylock Cargo Trailer Door Lock ) instead, as it better protects the latch hardware behind the lock. That is not a knock against the Trimax in particular, just a limitation of this style of lock on a typical cargo trailer latch (unless you have a hasp that surrounds the puck like this one:Master Hasp #770 - #6271 Hidden Shackle Lock Combo --but avoid the Master lock.) Trimax generally makes good stuff. I have purchased other Trimax chains and trailer locks and have been happy.

Not rekeyable without a special kit
Great lock, however went to two different locksmiths and both could not Rey key the lock without a so called TriMax lock kit. Not a deal breaker, just have to use two sets of keys as I lost one of the three keyed alike locks I originally had and had to replace it. Next time will purchase the three keyed alike locks instead of the one.
