Purchased for curtains in an RV
I purchased 10 ounce weight of canvas drop cloth and 12 ounce weight. For what I'm using it for I liked the heavier weight much better. The RV curtains, when let down, are a good buffer/insulator from the heat and cold. So, in this case the weight makes a difference. The feel is quite different too. The lighter weight felt softer and flimsier. The 12 ounce that I ended up going with looks like better quality. I had 9 windows to do. 3 being very large. I needed 2- 9 x 12 drop cloths to make all 9 window treatments. $44 for 9 windows (Material only) is a great price for this thick of material. Yes, there is a seam but I just cut around it and threw the seam away. Yes, there are some different colored threads (Not many, I assume from recycling) but none of it is noticeable or bothers me at all. I love them and get lots and lots of compliments to any one that see's our RV.

WOW.... this thing is HEAVY!
I've always wanted to invest in a canvas paintdrop that would get me through any painting and/or craft situation. This will do it! I purchased the (9x12) 12oz after reviews of paint leaking through other weights. This is a tightly woven canvas that NOTHING should leak through!!! It IS seamed in the middle for those crafters, and 12oz is probably too heavy for a curtain treatment or slipcover. I haven't washed it yet, so maybe it would soften. 9x12 is bigger then I thought. As a female, it is very heavy for me to handle, lift, and fold. I also purchased one for my son who is repainting at his house. It will get him through whatever project he is working on. This is a good investment for my needs.

Heavy duty material
The material is thick and durable. I use this as a big drop cloth for leafy bush trimming where there is gravel cover that must not be filled up with small organic debris that would work its way into the gravel by trying to use a blower. Makes clean-up much easier. I cut the center seam and cut a circle out of the middle, folded over all edges and hemmed them with a zig-zag stitch. Now just pull around the bush base and bring the edges together to form a complete cover around the bush to catch trimmings all the way around. Pull out, & fold up the trimmings & dump in the trailer. Go to next bush.

Good
Thick tarp for painting needs but constructed from multiple pieces of material sown together.

Nice and thick
I bought two of these for slip covers for sofas because we have four dogs. It is absolutely durable enough to keep toenails from poking through. After only one washing the edges of one have threads coming off, but they can be cut off. There is a seam running down the middle, which doesn’t bother me at all, but I notice some people care about that for some reason.

As a Drop Cloth It's Great, For Other Purposes It May Not Be Suitable.
While the density and weave of this product are great and I suspect it would work excellent for it's intended purpose, I was not expecting to see irregularly placed seams in the middle of it. There are two such seams in the version I received that bisect the length of the canvas and one of the top corners. Granted, I am planning to use it for other than it's intended purpose (painted floor cloth) so my complaints should be taken for what they are. The other issue is that mine arrived dirty with several greasy dark spots in the middle. That section of the tarp was completely folded up inside the packaging so that clearly happened at the factory and was allowed to get past quality control. I may return this yet as it did not meet my needs and the staining is not something I think I should have to accept. If you're looking for a floor cloth to catch paint, dust or other finishes, this would work just fine.

It is is thick and sturdy
It is good to use it as a painter cover, itbis thick and sturdy, but if you are looking to buy this canvas to paint it and use it as a backdrop, don’t buy it. It has a seam in the middle!

I used for oil painting
Ok to paint on.. I used this as an inexpensive canvas option to oil paint on. I started 24x24 inch. With 4 coats of gesso and sanding it was still very canvas textured during painting. I will use it up as I like the material. However, next time I will try 8 Oz or 10 oz... Maybe go a little lighter. When I was done I took the canvas off the back board.. It felt like a thick piece of leather. Rollable for sure.. Mounting on 20x20 stretcher boards was difficult as it was so thick mostly from the gesso and underpainting in raw umber only. This is why I will try a lighter weight material. FYI this was my first time making my own canvas

Good Fabric Horrible Construction
I was very disappointed when I opened this. I researched this product before ordering so Amazon would not incur postage fees for a return. The manufacturer states in the Q&A that the dropsheets are constructed using 6 foot wide panels. Okay so 12 feet = 1 interior seam. WRONG. It had 3 seams, the fabric used was only 4 feet wide. I could have purchased wider canvas off the roll and sewn it to a much higher standard. While it has 2 extra seams running through the middle, only 2 of the edges were hemmed. Meaning that if you want to use this as a painters drop cloth the first time you wash it the edges will fray. Can't fault the quality of the canvas- it's thick and sturdy- but the construction is abhorrent.
