Great product, if only Amazon could have sent me the right model

I ended up ordering one of these from outside of Amazon. The first unit they sent me was a GPE-1503, not a GS-3000. I filled out the form indicating that the wrong item had been sent, and sent the incorrect unit back. A little while later, a new box arrived. Inside was, again, a GPE-1503. I called Amazon's customer service and explained the situation. They claimed to put a hold on all shipments so they could verify the warehouse stock. I sent this second incorrect unit back. After a few weeks, I placed an order again. The third shipment had, again, a GPE-1503 inside, with a green "Verified by Amazon" sticker on the outside of the packaging. I called, again, and they said they'd verify stock in the warehouse again. At this point, I decided I wasn't going to chance them sending the wrong unit for a fourth time, so I returned it and ordered from another company. After over 2 months, I finally received a GS-3000. The juicer itself works great. It does a great job of extracting all of the liquid. The pulp that comes out seems very dry. After use, it needs to be cleaned right away. This mostly consists of rinsing the parts in water. The screens are slightly more difficult to clean, but the included brush gets them clean pretty quickly.

After destroying several centrifugals and a refurbished single gear masticating juicer (may they all rest in peace), I knew what I needed to do. But deciding which twin gear to get was probably one of the most frustrating decisions I've ever had to make because, seriously, who HAS that kind of money? I don't, that's for sure. Anyway, I found an endorsment for this brand from Kris Carr and when it comes to juicing, I trust what that chica has to say. So I went for it and man am I glad I did. This thing is WONDERFUL. It juices greens like nobody's business...it especially likes the "stalkier" ones, like lacinato kale, carrot greens, dandelion greens, parsley etc. Softer stuff like spinach and chard takes a bit more effort and you have to strain it afterwards. No biggie. The key seems to be to alternate the stalkier stuff with the softer stuff (like cucumbers) to keep it from backing up. If you try to juice all 3 cucumbers at once, you're going to have issues. So alternate the vegetation. The only thing I can't get it to juice is previously frozen and then thawed berries. They're just too soft. Fresh ones work okay. Again, no biggie. Cleaning it took a while at first, but once we got aquainted with one another, cleaning is a breeze. The screen is of course the most time consuming. I just do a good scrubbing with the included brush and then use my fingernails to get the stubborn little corners on the inside of the screen. The directions say the back side of a table knife works well, but I have better success with my nails. I can take the whole thing apart and have it cleaned in about 5 minutes now. It just takes some practice. Definitely get Kris Carr's "Crazy Sexy Juices and Succulent Smoothies" ebook along with this and don't be shy about trying the Market Mama recipe (jalepeño, anyone?). Oh yeah! :)

Green Star 3000 bad experiance

I found it very difficult to use. The ingredients get stuck in the feed shoot, I had to use the little wooden plunger that came with it and still I had to put a lot of pressure to get it to feed. I returned it as I felt my wife would not be able to use it. The video that came with it showed it working very easy but that was not what I experienced.

Tribest Green Star 3000 Deluxe Juicer/Juice Extractor

I purchased the Juicer as a gift. He seems to use it very often almost daily. It is easy to clean. The only downfall is that you have to put your juicier fruits through the juicer first.

Love this juicer!! I only wish it wasn't such a pain to clean...guess my health is worth it. Great machine and it's so quiet! So glad I bought it!

Great Juicer

This unit and brand was recommended by a family member. What a great piece of equipment. Strong, well built, easy to clean, and makes great juice from literally anything. I'm not looking back or second guessing on this purchase. It does everything far better than any unit I have owned prior to getting this one. I have read some reviews that were not to kind, and I can only wonder why those folks were having problems. Nothing is perfect, but this is quite close. I also like the seven year warranty, but doubt I will have to use it.

Had return twice.

Brought as a gift and had to return TWICE. amazon made both returns super easy but big hassle. First one had a problem with actually juicing items and second one juiced but produced to much foam and very very hard to clean. Ended up buying her a champion juicer for half the price and she loves it.

Great juicer

This juicer will juice anything, wheat grass too, the only drawback is that it is time consuming to clean, and not dishwasher proof. This is my second one, and the first one was used daily for just about 15 years. The old one had superficial cracks in the casing from putting it through the dishwasher. Reason for buying a new one, I gave the other one away to a friend.
