Perfect if you are 5’3” or under.

Perfect for a 5ft 205lbs and a 5’3” 110lbs person. Too short for a 5’7” person to use as a cane. Found 285lbs nephew using it as a chair before we asked not to bc it exceeds the weight limit. There was no damage from his weight. Padded J hook handle is great. It’s easy to hang when not in use. Another person on the tour had a L shape handle and his cane kept on falling on the floor at restaurants & on the bus, breaking the flashlight on this handle. His seat was larger and looked more comfortable but when folded and used as a cane, it was more cumbersome and heavy. We bought this to use for the long lines into the Vatican. Then at Yellowstone, I used two Travelon canes w/seats as a hiking sticks. (Wasn’t planning on hiking.) Now I use it in our daily life bc you just never know when you’re going to end up standing in one place, which kills my knees.

Good for Travel

I bought this for a recent overseas trip since I am recovering from back surgery. Because it isn't adjustable, I couldn't pack it in my luggage, but it fit in the overhead bin on the airplane. It's not good as a cane; it was too short (and I'm short!), and since it couldn't be adjusted, I used it primarily to sit when I needed to. My husband attached a heavy string to it and we were able to carry it on our shoulders. It is very lightweight. If it could have been adjusted, it would have also been ideal as a cane.

Light weight, sturdy and easy to use.

This is easily used as a cane, and a seat. I like to swing it around my back when I’m going for a walk, and I know there won’t be a place to stop and rest

Nice but not adjustable.

I had one before of a different brand. It was not as sturdy. It did last about 10 years of light use. I did not need the cane. I only needed it so I could sit on occasions when I needed to stand for long times. Like waiting in line at DisneyWorld. It finally broke on a cruise to Alaska. This one sounded sturdier so I ordered it. I was under the impression it could be adjusted. I don’t know why. I took it out of the box, tried it, it is very sturdy. Loved it. Threw out the box. Figured it would be perfect once my husband adjusted it for my height, I am 6’. He finally got to it. It’s not adjustable. Hmm.. I felt pretty dumb to have just assumed it did. So it is too low for me but it is OK. I only use it sporadically so I will make it do. But if you are over 5’9” I would look for another brand. If you are shorter it is terrific.

Great seat cane for conventions

I got this cane to use during San Diego Comic-Con because there are endless lines and a hip injury keeps me from being able to sit on the ground to wait. It worked great for me! I really felt my experience was improved by being able to sit whenever I needed. I liked that it was about the same height as a chair, not low to the ground like a lot of portable seats, and could be folded and unfolded with no time taken. The line is moving? I'm up and moving too. Sitting with the cane handle between my legs like they describe was the most stable and comfortable, but I sat on it "side saddle" sometimes too. Just be careful about when you're sitting on it to the side - I only had the chair tip once and it was when I was just sitting down and the legs weren't in the right spot. Once I was seated I didn't have problems. Two caveats: 1) It isn't adjustable height. I'm 5'4", and it's actually the same height I use for my adjustable cane, so I thought it was perfect, but if you're taller you probably won't be happy, and 2) It took a while to get used to because the shorter leg will hit the ground during the follow through of a step. I did get used to it pretty quickly, but it threw me off at first. ProTip: Take some washi tape and wrap it around the legs to make it more interesting and fun than your typical hospital grey. I got lots of compliments on mine!

Reasonably sturdy cane seat

I got this for waiting in long lines and attending events where seating may not be readily available. It works fine as a cane, but it isn't quite as sturdy as I'd like as a seat. You're expected to sit with the cane between your legs, which I'm not thrilled about. But if I try to sit with the cane at my back, it doesn't feel very stable. So this is OK when I'm not able to bring a folding lawn chair. I'm an average size woman; I don't know how a larger and heavier person would do with it.

Not for anyone who is "Bigger"

Would have been a good idea but for two issues. The first is the seat size of about 8" across. About the size of a personal pizza. Unfortunately my seat is at least a 12 slice large. The second issue makes it worse, you have to sit facing the handle that comes up and the seat is set right against the handle so you have to be completely flat in the front. No room for muffin top, heck no room for a timbit. If i slid back far enough to get some tummy room I would have been sitting about 6" past where the seat ends. Last time I would have fit on this I would have been in public school. Perfect for anyone a size 10 or smaller.

Brisée après 5 jours

L'idée est excellente, très pratique mais attention comment vous vous y installez. Trop de poids vers l'arrière fait plier la patte arrière et brise. Mon conjoint est tombé sur le dos et s'est plessé au cou.

Excellent Product

I bought this for my wife who is recovering from spinal surgery and needed a cane with a seat for when she needs to rest. This product exceeded our expectations. It is very light. yet sturdy. My wife uses it on a regular basis and is very happy with its quality and functionality.

Maybe Unsafe

I sat on this cane seat with it placed on my living room hardwood floor and it tipped me over and I fell onto my side Not sure whether to trust this product or not.

Chair Walker.

Very handy. If the seat was a little bigger I would give it full ratings. Handy when going to fairs when you do much walking and lots of standing where you do not have seating facilities.
