Better than nothing
I needed something that could drill holes in concrete. I really didn't need a professional tool that costs hundreds, just something to do simple jobs maybe every six months. I had my job done in 20 min. vs the two hours with a regular drill. As someone wrote in another review the mason drill that came with it is trash. It didn't even make it through the first hole before the blades were worn to nothing. You need to buy a drill that costs almost as much as this drill itself, but you will finish your job. Good luck, it is worth the money for occasional home jobs!

Great tool for a great price
This is one of the tools I don’t have. I needed one for a quick project at the house, and while I am trying to slowly build up my tool set, this is one I wasn’t ready to drop a big chunk on just yet. Some of the reviews had me on edge but I figured for the price, worst case is I end up going to rent one. I was pleasantly surprised with it. The bits that came with it are not good bits at all, so please make sure to have your own. But when I used my own bits, this thing worked great. No issues with it breaking or smoking, so far it’s working great.

Good
For the cost this is good but not for heavy use. I got one of these a few years ago that had a different name on it but is exactly like this one and considering enflation about the same cost. I got something like 20 - 1/2 holes in concrete when the hammer function stopped and makes a laud noise now when using it as a normal drill. But for the price I am happy with it.

Good corded drill
I only bought this because I had to put a 1.5" hole thru 4" of concrete. Plan was to return it afterward, but its such a good strong corded drill, I decided to just keep it. love the hammer drill on and off option.

Good drill
This drill handles well. I used it alot, it got the job done, but the handle cracked after the 2nd day of use.

Great Drill
For $26 this is a steal! I have only positives to share about this product. Hopefully it lasts as well as it performs. The masonry bits that came with it were not junk as I expected. Would definitely buy again.

Works for the price!
I was skeptical that this would even work but it does! I drilled into some pretty hard brick and this made quick work of it. I did not use the bits that came with the drill because they were too big for my use

Good value for the money
Works great. Masonry drill bits work well. The metal/wood bits don't work well, but that's not why you buy a hammer drill anyways. Overall very satisfied.

Not Recommended
I bought this drill for some home use and small DIY projects. Considering the price, I didn't expect that much quality or performance. However, I expected the minimums at least. But this drill failed both, unfortunately. The first shock was the packaging. I came with a very low-quality damaged box. The damage is not because of the transportation. The device itself and accessories are wrapped in very cheap plastic bags and they are just in the box loosely. No bubble wrap or anything to hold them from moving inside the box. It means that from manufacturer to warehouse to my home with all the transportation it went through a lot of stroke and movement, etc. When I took out the drill from the wrapping plastic, my disappointment doubled. As you see in the photos, the color on some parts of the body is peeled. It doesn't look to be a return package that I got. It's more likely the factory issue. After all these disappointments, I decided to check its performance and see if it even works or not. It worked or at least I could turn it on! But, it failed to make a hole in my condominium wall which I was trying to hang a frame. The hummer function is not strong at all compared to good brands I tried before. Overall, I would NOT recommend this product at all and will return mine.

Great drill if used properly
The drill itself is well made and the best for the price. The only problem is the drill bits it comes it are junk. I tried drilling into concrete with the drill bits it came it and I just couldn’t, it only got very hot. I went to the store and bought a proper drill bit for concrete and it worked like a charm. It was so effortless and easy. So, I think most of the bad reviews the drill itself is getting is because of the drill bits. Otherwise, it is actually a good buy at a great price.

Should have trusted the reviews
Unfortunately everybody else was right. The drill has some weight to it, seems sturdy. The padding of the box didn't bother me, both the drill bits and the drill are wrapped in plastic bags and didn't look dented scratched or broken. I didn't use the drill bits included, I had a masonry one already of good quality. I had 2 holes to drill in concrete, I didn't manage to fully do either. First of all, the secondary handle. It's pretty fragile. You have to screw it to the drill for it to tighten around the drill. I tried to screw it securely (I'm not that strong) and it broke. It's plastic so it cracked. Rip. Second of all, I tried to screw a hole in the ceiling. Cord is too small, had to use an extension (not very tall ceilings) Finally. Begun to screw hole. Worked for about 45 secs. Then the chuck gave out. It didn't "detach/come off" like other people mentionned, but it unscrewed. Like any drill, you put the bit in the drill then screw the drill end so the chuck tighten on the bit to hold it in place. Well when you use the drill, the spinning of the drill unscrew the chuck so they loosen and the drill bit spins, falls rending the entire drill useless. Tried multiple tries, same result. Unusable drill. Had to return it.

You are getting cheap and cheap is costly
I bought this drill yesterday. I didn’t expect much from a drill worth $40 but it seems even $40 can be spend much better. Drill bits are a joke or Chinese junk. They melted and twisted while I tried to make one whole in concrete. As so far I plan to put to test durability of drill itself and will write another review.

So far not bad...
I didn't pay a lot for it so I didn't expect much... but it does have a good amount of power to it. I've only used this a couple of times so far so I really haven't had enough use to really see how well it holds up over time. A couple of cons... the cord is WAY too short! You'll need a good extension cord. Also, it doesn't reach tight areas very well. But it DOES have good power and did the job (mostly) I needed.
