Crappy design
Crappy design. The base has a small protrusion which the pipe sits on top of. In the course of tightening the pipe down the inside brackets weld cracked and the pipe began to tip over the side of the protrusion. The pipe should have fitted OVER it instead of sitting directly on top of it. They need to make the base protrusion diameter 1/4 inch smaller so that it would be enclosed by the mounting pipe.

Poor Quality
When assembled, the pieces did not fit together properly which made it unstable.

Disappointed
I was liking for an umbrella base that wouldn’t tip over and this one we are constantly having to prop up and put heavy rocks on just to keep the umbrella from falling over.

Mechanical design is poor
I like aesthetic but the mechanical design to fit the rod that comes with it is terrible. It sits on top in an unstable condition, not holding the umbrella straight unless forced by a high table. If I try to tighten it further it will crack as indicated in another review here. The screw to tighten the umbrella damage it badly. I regret buying this cheap design base.

Crooked umbrella holder
After bolting piece to base that actually holds the umbrella, it is NOT straight up and down. Something is off with it. Think it should have been better quality for the price.

Best one for the price!
Very solid - it holds our wooden deck umbrella up even without a table over it. I love the design. It fell over in a high wind storm and got a bit wobbly - but we were able to fix it simply by tightening the bolt on the bottom. It has a gasket to allow for different pole thicknesses, ours was just a bit too big to fit, so we left that bit out. Water doesn't seem to collect there so it's all good.

Works as advertised
Attaching the base to the pole tube was a little difficult because it was not properly tac welded the bolt was a little difficult to attach.

Mala calidad
Es de un metal muy delgado, no pesa nada, no soporta las sombrillas. No me gusto nada.
