Good price for the quality and quantity

I bought these for my nephews to play hunger games for a family game for Christmas. After the first round of the game, the swords started to break apart. It still ran it's purpose so not too bad. I wish it would of been a little bit more sturdy but we got 3 good use out of them.

All of them fell apart before the end of the party

Pieces of these swords were all over my yard after my kid's birthday party. They didn't even last until the end of the party, but the kids had fun with them while they lasted. Would have been nice if they could have taken them home as a parting gift.

Excellent for skydiving toys

ON GUARD!! We purchased these as toys to use while skydiving and in freefall. We use these as training tools for students to learn how to maneuver around the sky while having fun hitting each other with these swords. They hold up under 120mph winds and keep its shape. If that isn't proof that these are made well than I don't know what would convince you that this is a great purchase. If you live in the NY Catskills area and find one of these in your back yard, I apologize for it slipping out of my hand. Do know though it was worth the fun. If we happen to lose a few of these in freefall, I plan on purchasing these exact swords again!

Out of a dozen swords, 6 were defective.

We ordered these for our granddaughter’s third birthday party as party favors. Out of a dozen swords, half had broken handles. Since the party was the next day after they arrived, we had no choice but to use a hot glue gun to repair.

Great for a Pirate Birthday, Alternative to Cheap Inflatible Swords

These foam swords are about 17-18", 6 of each style were delivered. Both sword styles are fine, the one with the hand cover is more like a pirate swrod and was more popular for a pirate birthday party. These are not intended for an everyday use toy. Please know that before purchasing. They are bettter than inflatible swords, but they will not hold up to a lot of play. I purchased these as party favors for a pirate party and they are perfect. I did not want to deal with defective inflatbile swords that can quickly tear and deal with blowing all of them up before the party. These held up for the day just fine and the price was right.

A good way for the kids to blow off a little steam.

You never quite know what you are gonna get. I had bought several foam rubber swords that my grandchildren loved. These are much shorter and at first I was disappointed. After watching the younger grandchildren play with these I realized these are a better choice for smaller children. A little bit easier to keep them from swinging them too wildly inside. My wife does so prefer to not get stuff knocked down. Soft foam rubber means small kids are much less likely to hurt each other. The longer soft foam swords (which my older grandchildren prefer) also keeps kids from easily getting hurt but are more of a problem around the lamp. This is the right size for four and under. It is now a year later and I am going to get another order of these (split up the first order between three households). They do wear out but anything soft enough for small children will wear out. These are very good quality for the price.

Boys younger than 11 will love these

These swords are a great value for the price, and the size is just right for young boys. The total length of each sword is about 17", which includes about 13" of blade and 4" of handle. These foam swords will work great for a pirate or knight-themed party or event since boys can whack each other pretty hard with them without getting hurt. I bought a 12-pk and a 6-pk to use on a Knights of the Roundtable-themed weekend camping trip with my son's Cub Scout Pack, which includes boys aged 6 - 11. The trip got rained out, but my 8 year old son and several of his friends have had a blast playing with them around the house, especially when used with the homemade shields we learned how to make on the Storm the Castle dot com website. (I'm not affiliated with that site - I just stumbled across it when searching the web for how to make a cardboard shield, and now I keep going back to it for other cool ideas.)

Not great

I bought these for my child’s birthday party. I had low expectations because they were cheap, but some of the handles fell off before they were even used! By the end of the 1.5 hour party, they were pretty much all trashed. My kids still used them (with some help from duct tape) and had fun.

Quality is low and ends of the swords come off quickly

Good: - Soft and (relatively) safe to play with (until the bottom styrofoam piece falls off and becomes dangerous) - came in large quantity, so it was good to share with my son's friends and cousins Bad: - Quality is low - The bottom handle falls off pretty quickly after use and can be dangerous with young kids

Good...but with a few flaws...

They're tons of fun for little kids (we had 5-8 year olds at our party). They made a nice addition to the kids goody bags...although they do break easily. So, between their short life span and the price I paid for them, I can't give them a 5-star rating.

One Time Use (Twice if your Vegas Lucky)

As many have said, the idea and the initial feel is great... UNTIL you use them. The handles slip off and the foam will crack ON THE FIRST USE. I gave them to 4 year olds (not very strong kids) and they destroyed them. This is a great idea but very SHODDY product. Do Not Purchase.

Great play swords

These swords were perfect for my 5 yr olds ninja party. They are light weight and because of the foam dont hurt when wacked. If you bend the top of the seord 90° it will break and inside is harder plastic lower down. Encourage your kid not to bend and these will last a long time...2 months and counting for us.

Great for toddlers!

Short foam swords, suitable for toddlers. 1 1/2 yr old grandson loves challenging everyone to a duel. Very safe. The do get torn apart with hours of use but it's worth the small cost for all the interacting & fun.
