need to pay good attention to a smart dog.....
worked well for about a week and then somehow my way to smart for her own good dog managed to pop the fill plug off (even thought it was facing down), chew it off and pull out the inner balloon and shred it -- all with the collar tight (two fingers between collar and her little neck). and before I get a lot of lectures about needing to watch my dog better - this was after she wore it for 8 days with no problem and it only took her an hour to shred it after she decided she was done with it. fortunately a quick check at the vet and she didn't need it anymore so all is well. I purchased this one because my pup needed to wear it for two weeks and the plastic one is not a good solution for extended wear, the soft collar doesn't work either (she uses a paw to fold it down- yea she's to smart for her own good......) ----- I would buy it again but I'd probably order 2. While it worked, it was comfortable for her and kept her incision protected but order on the small side as there is a gap that makes it fit loose. --- it is a good alternative to the hard plastic cone of shame but not at all 'dog proof'.

Bulky “rubber tire” feeling
Didn’t care for the texture. And, we used ut only a couple of times before the dogs got to horseplaying and popped it. The one with the canvas cover abs inflatable insert hold up much better.

Keep Your Dog in the Chain Link!!!!
I bought the collar for my Jack Russell Terrorist. I could not keep him in the chain link. He could force his body between gates and their anchor....or he could just dig out. Not any more. He knew instantly his game was over. It is well made, very durable, and most important lightweight. Jack does not even feel it's there. But he knows he cannot get out anymore. I would like to see a collar with a latch that attaches to the dogs collar Leynas Pup Palace LLC! This would keep the dog from taking it off if it was anchored to the actual dog collar. In my case Jack did not try to take it off but I imagine some dogs would. Different sizes for small to large dogs would be nice. Trust me there is a market for this product. Thanks for a great buy!

Worked well for us.
Actually, we purchased a soft collar first thinking it would be more comfortable. Took minutes for our Lab to destroy it. So, we bought this one. Much better - fits better and even though it isn't covered in soft material, it seems to be comfortable for our dog. Intention was to keep her from licking medicine off her belly and chest. It certainly kept that from happening. The only weird thing we ran into is that one end of the velcro strap was sewn on upside down, so we have to twist it to attach it snugly - just an odd manufacturing problem on this one, I imagine. We're happy with the way it keeps her from reaching the areas she needs to leave alone. BTW, I wouldn't leave one on your dog for any lengthy period as it will cause some sweating and itching underneath just because it is a plastic product.

Prior one had better quality
We ordered this one years ago and lasted my pup has allergies so he is coned often to prevent licking his paws. When that one was not holding air we reordered same one because we loved it and it lasted, this one the cover ripped in mess than a month, definitely not the same quality they use to have unfortunately

A must have
MY dogs have never taken well to E-Collars so I decided to give this try. It worked perfectly. My dogs went back to their normal selves while not being able to get at hot spots/ stitches etc. It also helped keep my Bichon's ears clean. The e-collar would cause her ears to bung up and with the inflatable collar her ears were free and didn't seem to have the same reaction. My dogs are also a lot more comfortable in this, it's like having a built in pillow. :) It fits around the collar and holds itself in place very well. It sits just right so that dogs aren't able to bite and puncture the ring. I recommend this product over the traditional e-collar. You'll have a happier dog and piece of mind that they won't be able to get at what needs to heal.

Better than plastic cone
Comfort is great and material is durable. The problem I have is that the air plug keeps popping open and is has to be blown back up every day or so. Its not as good as the Zen collar that I one had, and can no longer find. But as I say great design otherwise and reasonable price
