Problem Solver

I actually purchased this to use with a 5 inch aluminum sanding disk so that I could use it with 3/8 drill motor rather than a right angle grinder.

Arrived on time and worked great

It is a tool, there are only a couple things you can say about a tool, it worked perfect, it is very sturdy and it got here in time. It was a good purchase.

Allows use of 5/8" thread tools with 3/8" drill.

This let me still all the way through a standard brick with a hole saw. Also lets angle grinder attachments be used with a drill.

Not for large core bits

Not really suitable for large core bits. If you've got some heavy duty drilling to do, get the AD1112 Core Bit Adapter. If the bit jams and the drill kicks the adapter can bend which will cause the bit to wobble and make this adapter totally useless. I tried using it with a 4-1/4" dry core bit on some very hard brick. I kept removing the bit from the hole and dunking it in some water to cool the bit. The deeper the hole gets, the easier it is to get a kickback when restarting the drill and that is when it's going to bend the shank. I still have it as I think that it could be used with a 4" wire brush for an angle grinder. I'm not sure why I would want to do something like that because I have an angle grinder.
