This worked out amazing. My dog passed away, but I managed to get this done, fast. Brought him home from the vet just to do this quickly so he could be put to rest from his pain. You just roll it out on foil, wet the dogs paw, and stamp it down. Easy as that. Then use the ruler to shape. I’m glad I got this, it’s a nice and sweet physical memory. The frame itself is sturdy and nice. I saw mixed reviews on other clay molds on other Amazon suggested. Saying THEIRS, the mold, dried out and was unusable. My worry was that could happen with this one but, it didn’t. Everything was perfect and I have my lifelong memory on my wall now. Highly suggest you purchase with ur sick pet, or, healthy pet!!!!

The frame is simple, it has exact space for a photo and our pet's footprint fulfills its function.

The packaging is ok and everything they offer arrives in its box.If the frame were a little more solid and a better matte of the frame it would be super.

Simple, beautiful memorial for a loved pet

I wish I didn't have to write this review, because it unfortunately means that I have really lost my best friend of 14 1/2 years. But that is no fault of the manufacturer, of course. As sad as the whole situation has been, this framed paw kit has actually helped a lot in the mourning process, and it has become a treasured memory of my dearly departed dog. I miss him so much, but having this small part of him makes me smile. The "clay" it comes with actually dries to more of a foam consistency and strangely smells very nice. Using it was easy enough and it created a beautiful cast of my dog's paw with no sticking to fur or clay left behind. This was actually a big concern for us, too, as he was a long haired breed. Assembly was very easy, and the final product is simple but beautiful. It would fit in well with any aesthetic. I'm not happy with the circumstances around why I had to buy this, but I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Good paw print frame

Got 3 of these for our doggy after he had a stroke and we realized his time is nearing the end after 14 years. The clay is easy to mold but it was a bit tacky and got stuck in the pads of his paws a bit but it wasn’t too bad. The biggest problem was clay is a bit too thick when you add the double sided foam backing. I had to cut out a cm or two to get it to fit and then glued it down instead of using the backing included. I don’t know why they don’t include a little glue instead of the foam double sided backing.

Easy to use!

**smells like the bottom of a tanning bed ???? like coconut tanning lotion and sweat. Doesn't smell through the frame tho. This was really easy to use. Held our old girl steady and firmly pressed her front paw and held for a few seconds. Make sure their paw is clean and damp or you'll get dirt in it like I did, but i don't really care about the dirt. A damp paw releases the material easier. Had some left over so i did a back paw by holding the material and squishing it on by hand. Sturdy, good quality frame and glass. Love having the photo/paw print combo.

Great buy!

My dog passed away the day before it came in the mail (he got too sick too fast, the delivery was on time) so i didn’t get to do the paw print, but the vet gave us a clay paw print. but it was too thick for the frame.. so i just put a second picture in the frame & have it sitting next to his ashes. Still looks beautiful & I get to see my big baby w everything that reminds me of him everyday. His ashes sit next to his original owners ashes , my uncle who passed a year before him , reunited in heaven. I love it , great purchase ❤️

A great tool for making a forever memory

So, unfortunately, we have to put our dog to rest tonight. Last minute idea, I ordered this set as it looked like a good memory maker and way cheaper than the pet mortuary places charge. It was supposed to come tonight, so we hoped it would arrive early so we could use it in time....and it did!!! Super easy to use, no mess and we made a family time of it. Now it's something we can hold on to for the future. Thanks so much for this product!
