Slow ring
listing says long ring, details do say three seconds but it was like one second for me. Even three is not enough unless you are standing in the kitchen.

Off By 10 Seconds
This heavy duty timer is off by about 10 seconds when it rings. That’s not too bad. I realize it’s a mechanical instrument. It sits quite solidly on my counter, because it has a rubber base. It can time up to 59 minutes and has 5 minutes increments. The ticking is not loud. The alarm sound is loud enough to be heard from next room only, if door is open. It says the “the further the knob is turned clockwise, the longer the alarm”. I didn’t really notice a difference. It is a little pricey, but I wanted one that is stocky and sits solidly on the counter. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Disappointed
I really thought I had a nice timer when I ordered it…Looks good and sturdy on the outside but it’s very cheap. The alarm is so quiet you never hear it..my opinion is try to get something better…
