THIS FAN BLOWS......but in a GREAT WAY!
I have the ThermalTake Tower 100 and I love it but I noticed the top was a semi trap for heat. With all the mesh, cables, and everything else the heat just kinda swirled around up there.....SO I bought this fan with the intention to zip tie it to the top panal. had the hopes it would SUCK all the air through the top "mesh" a bit better and it definitely does that. Was worried about the noise......overall its really not NEARLY as bad as I thought it would be. Yes it does put off noise..I mean its a fairly large fan but it's is fairly quiet overall. It's no worse than one of the smaller fans. As it is sitting eye level I wondered if the LEDs would bother me or be a distraction...not at all. They all are either blurred with plastic or facing the other way, but this is not to say that they don't light the area up! A really nice addition to the case and it would be pretty sweet to see ThermalTake consider forming the top around this type of thing to really push the vertical case air situation. Could add a little lip around it make the case 2 inches taller and it would be AMAZING for the air movement! TLDR: Fan really moves air with a nice glow thats not too bright.

Just very nice gadget
It does what it claims. Used at full 12v the sound is a very soft rush. With PWM speed control it could be about silent. As is, moves a lot of air placed behind an oil-filled electric heater. With the heater off it makes a definite cold draft half-way across the room. With the heater on it produces a pleasantly warm aura within arm's length and does speed warming the entire room. The heater columns remain just warm, easy to touch and keep one's fingers in contact, compared to how hot the heater columns become normally without the fan.

Fits HAF X top fan BUT
I bought this fan to replace the top fan in my HAF X. I've had the case for 12 years, the top fan seems to occasionally need replaced. Discovered that cooler master does not make these 200 mm fans anymore apparently. This fan fits just fine though, it does not have the same length mounting holes as my old cooler master one. So you will need a 35 mm screw/bolt to get it to seat from the top IF you're mounting this for a half X. I haven't tested the screw length myself, but logic and searching seems like that is the answer. I just zip tied mine in place through the screw holes and seems to work fine. The fan is a little loud, but it runs full speed all the time and kicks a good amount of air. I'll take this sound over bad bearing sound.

Isn't a direct replacement for Thermaltake tt-2020
The rIght diameter of 200mm, but the wrong thickness for my existing Thermaltake case; won't fit as a result as the screws aren't long enough and probably won't actually let the bezel snap back in place. Had to order tt-2030 instead. I just wanted to give a heads-up to anyone in the same boat in the future. Otherwise, it looks well made and has an included adapter for Molex.

9 out of 10 !
Keep it clean as dust will dull the brightness over time

Quiet but doesn't really move a lot of air
Fan is definitely quiet but it's single speed really isn't very fast and it doesn't move very much air.

Great 200mm Fan
I’ve ran a 200mm exhaust fan on my build for over 5 years. With bigger GPUs and CPUs putting off more and more heat I decided to upgrade my intake fan to a 200mm instead of 2 120mm. For those that don’t know a 200mm fan pushes a ton of air and doesn’t require nearly as high RPM to reach those high CFM volumes. I installed this running full blast with no PWM support and it easily outperforms the 2 existing 120mm at a MUCH quieter sound level. With my dual 120’s the case would sound like a jet engine when they hit above 60% speed; the 200mm is hardly audible at 100%. Yes I can hear it, but basically this 200mm is pushing more air, quieter, without breaking a sweat. I am knocking points off for the mounting solution. The fan only includes 4 surface mount screws that won’t work with all cases. I had to go to the hardware store and buy 4 #4 1.25” tapered screws to mount it to my case. For pennies on the dollar these could have easily been included. Also I do think the fan could’ve easily included 4 rubber pads for additional vibration dampening to make it even quieter. All of that said at $14 I still think it’s an incredible value. If your case can fit 200mm fans, you can’t go wrong here.

This one's a rattlesnake
The media could not be loaded. Started rattling after 7months. Even after warming up still rattling. Junk.

Thicker then it's old version, but
other 2 dimension is perfect fit. The screw looks extreamly small, but very easilly cuts into the plastic and clings to the side plastic holes so well there is 0 resonance. The light is extreamly strong seems to be designed to lit the entire interior. It is very ballanced and do not cause any shake. Proof of this is that beacuse its a bit thicker i couldn't close the door, however just nudging in it doesnt move the door at all. If it would shake it would probably open the door since it is only held partially by its own weight which is not much. The cable is very long and stiff so you dont even need to hook it anywhere it can stay in the air as you bend it like a snake. The plugs are both male female you can easilly attach to anywhere really.

As near silent as it's possible to produce.
My second purchase of this model fan this is as near silent as it gets, essentially unnoticeable. Build quality is wonderful and has been faultless over many hours operation.

flimsy but functional
Feels flimsy but maybe this has to do with it being a large thin fan. Quiet in use, easy to fit

A word of warning
Delivered promptly. Alas, this fan is about 30mm deep (to replace an existing 25mm deep fan) and is just too chunky to fit (in either top or front position). Check to make sure you have enough tower space to accommodate it before you order. Mine is now just gathering dust.
