Amazing non-stick surface
I have been cooking for 50 years, and over those years, I’ve had both disappointing and fabulous non-stick pans. My sister recommended the Rock by Starfit, as she has the large sautee’ pan and loves it. I bought the 2 qt saucepan and I have to say it is the best non-stick surface I have ever used! We make cheesy grit almost every morning, and NO STICK at all! I also make rice often, and the cooked rice slides right out of the pan! Even if I leave some rice in the pan as we eat dinner, it comes out with no effort! I am not an engineer, but it seems to me that the cooking surface, rather than being a coating or top layer, is the the actual material the whole pan is made of. And it is safe with regard to unwanted chemical release. If you buy one, I have to believe you will be satisfied☺️

Non-stick, tough, easy to handle
How long this will last, I do not know. Out of the box and after half a dozen uses and cycles through bottom rack of dishwasher, the pot and lid are nearly immaculate. I have noticed small rust or discoloration on the bottom of the handle where the surface texture is non-glossy. So far nothing has stuck to the pot and the pot handle and lid handle are ergonomic and don't burn my fingers. The inside and outside of the pot are textured with "The Rock" coating, which is (I believe) a type of paint or ceramic coating. The texture is reminiscent of cast iron, but this stuff is very non-stick. The bottom of the pan is flat, with a smooth paint (?) that looks similar to the Rock stuff, but it lacks the rough texture.

Words can't convey how happy I am with this purchase. I swear I've had every pot/sauce pan/skillet out there from inexpensive to outrageiously expensive. This pot is WONDERFUL! Nothing to complain or pick apart about it. It is truly non-stick and so easy to clean up. I do not put my pans in the dishwasher (haven't done that in years), but none-the-less, this pot is worth its weight in gold. I definitely will reorder more of this brand as my other pans need replaced.

I have and induction stove and does not work there, the Information on the seller did not specify not for "Induction" stove. I kept the pot because I have a patio propane stove which works pretty good.
