Complicated but great
I think you need to watch a few YouTube videos before you even know how to take this thing “For a spin.” I felt like I needed a degree in calculating order to use this thing (lol), but it does the trick and I recommend it. I use it for my chemistry class, does exactly what I need it to…and even more that I don’t.

Does Math good
I put it through the rigors of the mathematic field. Kant said that Math is a synthetic a priori, a much argued position of human logic. So I decided to put this calculator through the gauntlet. It is often posited by many humans below the age of two of what the end result would be when combining more than one object based on an amount. For the purpose of this test I made that amount 2. I decided, based on the difficulty of the task, to make the amount of the second amount of objects 2 as well. When counting the number of objects combined together aloud I ended up with an astounding result of four. Now, can the TX30XIIS scientific calculator match my advanced level of intellect based on my reality of observation? I utilized the interface of the calculator and pressed the symbolic representation of the number 2 and since I was making an addition to the number of objects I used the symbol for addition and pressed the + sign. Nothing yet, I can see this calculator has potential. So I continued with my experiment and repeated the amount of 2 with the replication of my live experiment. Now, in order to see what that output was I needed to press the symbol that would inform the calculator to go ahead and perform the function and to put out the total sum. In almost lighting speed to my amazement, sure enough the total output read was 4. Amazing. The future is now. I can only imagine what this means for all science and human civilization as we know it. Oh and the color of the calculator is cool too.

Good basic scientific calculator.
Texas Instruments is known for good products and this is a good basic scientific calculator. It has all the operations most people will need. Unless you need a graphing calculator or a specific operation, this calculator will probably be all you ever need.

good calculator
Great value for the money and does everything. I certainly have no complaints for the money, but if I put money aside, the main thing I don't like is the way it handles order of operations. I don't mind the notation for arithmetic operations: value .. operation...value = But don't like typing: function. then value i.e. tangent then x . I want to type value then operation. i.e. x then tangent . The way it is I can't take the tangent of my current answer for example. Kind of annoying.

Trusty calculator with all the functions
I'm a machinist and sometimes have to do geometric calculations and this can do all that while also having a beautiful design and being solar powered and high quality build

It’s a calculator!
What can I say? It’s a good old Texas instrument calculator. I bought this for school and I have to admit, I have never seen a new calculator before. I was blown away by how good a calculator that hasn’t gone through many other students and vandalism feels like. As for its use, I wouldn’t buy this for anything other than school use, there are stuff that you wouldn’t normally use but you can still use it either way. In my case, I only bought the calculator so that I didn’t need to use the classroom calculator that has engravings on its screen and that I can also use it in my personal time. So for that purpose, it’s great!

Functionality unclear
I bought the calculator as a replacement for a discontinued TI model. Having read the reviews this sounded like a fair replacement. I currently teach engineers and use a calculator daily to set and check student question and answers I was disappointed with the TI30x as engineering functions are not immediately obvious on the keyboard. Most calculators have an ENG button which allows quick change between calculated answer and expressing in scientific notation on this one its a secondary function. Similarly expressing number to the power of 10 is a secondary function. i have decided it will do as a basic calc for home use, but will not be using in work or when marking at home.

Good Calculator
It does what it says on the tin. Some operations are a bit complicated. Doing statistics one has to remember that only ca. 49 values are stored! It’s good value for money, though.

This was a like for like replacement of the original I purchased nearly 20 years ago. As an Engineer I subscribe to the old addage "if it 'aint broke don't fix it". The original finally succumbed to a life of hard labour, the replacement with have a much easier passage through life and will probably outlast me......
