Worked

Big numbers helpful to read through the window. Light weight so needs to be secured. Plastic broke in our snow load. Will try a different product to see if it's sturdier. But was worth what it cost.

Coil is exposed in Back

The only issue i have is that the coil is completely exposed and unprotected. When the big wind blows it off the wall the coil could easily be damaged. Then it's a through a way.

Accuracy

I first purchased one thermometer and compared it's reading with local weather stations. It was always reading within a degree or two of what the big boys were saying. I purchased a second one and mounted it temporarily close to the first one. Both read the same temperature most all the time. You will be amazed at the simplicity of this instrument. It is easy to mount and to read the temperature from some distance. I highly recommend this product for inside or outside use.

High visibility is what I wanted

First, I didn't rate accuracy because I have nothing to compare it to that is known to be spot on. I bought this so I could see the temp in a warehouse while watching a security camera from my house, it seems to work great for that purpose, I may buy another one or two because I like the large print.

Very accurate and easy to read from kitchen window.

I’ve found this product to be very accurate. This photo was taken at 8:10 this morning. The temperature according to the weather report on my smartphone is 72 degrees. So far I have found that the temperature readings vary no more than 1 to 2 degrees from the official weather reports. Also it is very easy to read as opposed to the more traditional mercury temperature. I can comfortably read it from my kitchen and living room windows. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to read. Accurate enough. Super flimsy.

For the cost, don’t expect much in the way of sturdiness. This would certainly break if it falls, but for 8-9 bucks, what do you expect?

Not good for outside use

Thought this product looked good, but when I read the instructions it states not to put anywhere sunny. Being as this is designed for outside use this seemed totally absurd as the sun will reach it eventually. When the sun reaches it the reading is not correct.

Not designed for Canadians

This thermometer is primarily designed for Americans and not Canadians. The big numbers on it are for Fahrenheit. The Celsius numbers are tiny. It’s also a lot smaller than I thought it would be and the plastic is a bit thin. The price is high for what this is. Do your research before you buy it.

Extremely Inaccurate

Bought this for the inside of our cabin and it is out 15 degrees C. We have two others at the camp and they read exactly the same temperature except this one. Compared in exact location and it was registering 15 degrees colder. What a waste of money!

Stuck on 82F

The thing I like about this thermometer is the size of the numbers, so easy to read. However, doesn't matter what the weather is like or how big the numbers are because it always 82F in our house! I tried putting it the garage where it's hotter than hell but still 82F. I would return it but it arrived on recycling day and the box was thrown away. I would NOT recommend this product.

Smallest numbers are in Centigrade

Didn't pay attention on C/F numbers. Wanted largest numbers for C scale. Otherwise accurate as best as I can determine.
