Nice clamps
Only bad thing is the rubber comes off after using a little.

Good Product
I purchase a couple of these clamps at $2.79 each so that I could clamp my bench grinder to my workbench w/out having it move around when it hits high speed. The grinder is mounted on 3/4 plywood and mounts to another 3/4 inch worksurface and these 6-inch clamps open more than enough to accomodate the 1-1/2 inch total width (opens to roughly 2"inches wide) The plastic slip-on covers move around a wee bit -- but nothing that poses a material concern to me. Spring tension is very strong and does a good job holding my grinder in place. I'm quite happy overall w/ the quality of these and will probably be ordering more in the near future for other uses.

Good metal clamps for home use.
This clamp is sufficiently strong for my occasional needs at home doing woodwork. It can accommodate up to about two inches in clamping (I am showing a picture of two 0.75" boards clamped with two of these for reference. It is metal construction except the anti-marring points in red. I think this is a good purchase for the DIY person for various needs.

Strong tough clamps! Don't waste your money on plastic ones.
These clamps are tough and so handy to have around. I had purchased some plastic ones from Harbor Freight and they fell apart almost immediately. These will last forever--they are tough and strong. The only negative thing I have to mention about them is that the rubber coating on the jaws and handles tends to want to slip off from time to time (but you can just push them back on. I may put some adhesive on them to hold the rubber grips in place.

You get what you pay for
These clamps are OK and I've bought a bunch of them only because they're inexpensive and work ok enough... But these are NOT the same quality as genuine Pony clamps. • The metal plating is thin and these rust up a lot faster than pony clamps when used outside. • The open jaw width isn't quite as large as a comparable Pony clamp, but it will grab a piece of 2x4 width wise . Most annoyingly, the rubber tips on both the clamp end and grip end are such slid on- and they slide off easily. Also the rubber tips are soft rubber so eventually the clamp metal bites through the rubber and then you've got no padding. But that's only if you haven't lost the rubber tips before that happens. These clamps are typical imported cheapo things that work "ok" but certainly aren't all that good

"It's gonna be clamp this, clamp that. Bada-climp, bada-clamp!" --Francis X. Clampazzo, Futurama
These clamps open just a bit wider than 3.5" at the tips, although 3" is the maximum for the jaws to be parallel with one another. They hold well, yet I can open them with one hand. (YMMV, I have a large grip/average strength) The rubber handles and tips are easily removable, but stay in place snugly. There is an 8mm or 0.3" hole through the end of each handle if you're attaching cables, etc. The jaws have a a mildly curved double-tooth under the rubber tip. Made in China.

Love them! So convenient.
These are great! Sturdy, good grip, and strong. I use them to clamp down tarp that I use outdoors to cover equipment and during high winds these hold up just fine. These are just convenient to have in a variety of situations. My only wish would be if the ends had teeth of some sort that could grip better, but there are benefits to the way they are now also so I won't fault the product for this.

If you have money buy better ones
I guess you get what you pay for, the grip on these are bad, they kept snapping and falling onto the floor. I bought these as a one time use thing, so i’m not too bothered, but if you are someone who would use this weekly, you should probably spend your money on better clamps!

Strong and Sturdy
These clamps if you can tell by the picture are fairly large. Good value for what they do. To reduce indentation or marks, you can put cardboard/sponge in between the clamp and the item. Hard to avoid with a strong clamp. My purpose is for photography, setting up drapes, backdrops, and even for pinching the back of heavy clothing on models.

Ok
These are ok, they dont have nearly as much clamping pressure as higher quality spring clamps. The metal is quite thin and the soft tips have a very thin coat so the tips are still quite sharp and could mark what ever you are clamping. But they are cheap so thats why your looking at them.
